Academy Ford
Colorado Springs, CO

Gene of Colorado Springs writes:

A month after I purchased our truck the transmission started shifting very hard in between second and third gear. We took the truck back 9 times to be fixed. On the 4th time Academy Ford replaced the transmission. When we drove it off the lot, the truck shifted the exact same way it had been. NO change.

We've tried to get Academy to fix the problem, but they say they've done all that they can do, it's in Ford's hands.

Ford Motor company won't take responsibility either. I do have the extended warranty, however no one will fix the problem. I contacted the dispute settlement board and they won't help either. I've contacted the Better Business Bureau and they've given up also. I believe Academy is trying to ride out my warranty because it is almost up. If the warranty expires, I'll go away in their eyes.

We have taken off many days from work and lost pay. Also, there is emotional stress, and worry. Even if we decided to sell the truck, no one would buy it in the condition it's in.
