Sharon of Leander, TX January 1, 2009
Sharon of Leander TX (01/01/09) We own a 2005 chrysler pacifica that doesn't even have 100,000 miles and has to have an engine replaced...I contacted chrysler corp and was told to take it to a certified dealer and have a diagnostic test done to confirm what my mechanic had already said and to call them back to see if they could help with the repair. After doing what they asked me to do knowing the mileage when they requested the diagnostic i was informed that it was my problem not theirs.
Seems that even Chrysler doesn't expect their own product to be reliable to 100,000 miles. And even worse, they wouldn't even pay the 215.00 for the tow and test to be ran so they just cost us even more money for their lack of ethics. We will definitely not be buying anymore dodge or chrysler products and will be getting rid of this car as soon as I put the 7000.00 engine it.. Seems like they should have to be responsible for the product that they produce. Also, the dealer is saying that the oil pump failed so why didn't an engine light come on ??? This could have resulted in a huge accident if this engine had completely threw the rod on a freeway... But hey what do I know I'm just the consumer !

Art of Masapequa Park NY (11/02/08) Purchased a new 2005 Chrysler pacifica, after 12000 to 34000, had to have each ABS wheel sensor replaced because of the Abs light and in some cases the sensor had to be replaced 2X. I've had 5 sensors replaced and just hit 40k.
Could of had major braking problems and had accident. Chrysler doesnt belong in the car business.
Gary of Dingmans Ferry, PA September 9, 2008
Gary of Dingmans Ferry PA (09/09/08) I originally had my wifes vehicle repaired back in June 2008 and they said that it was the ABS module, costing 700. Got the car back and 2 days later the same thing. Lost brakes and ABS light came back on. I returned the car and Milford Chrysler said it was the left rear sensor. Now 9/9/08 The same effect, lost brakes and then the ABS light came on. Returned it to the same dealership and now tells me that the right sensor is bad and the cost is 350.00. Where does it end. This vehicle is defective or the dealership obviously does not know what they are doing? All I know is that I not feeling very goood about the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica.
Cathy of Upper Marlboro, MD September 2, 2008
Cathy of Upper Marlboro MD (09/02/08) Transmission problems with a faily new (2006) Chrysler Pacifica. Service records are impeccable and there is no reason why we should have to replace the transmission this soon.
