After many problems with my car, one of which could have possibly killed my son. I got a vehicle history report from Carfax.com. Upon looking at the information I noticed that the odometer had been rolled back. I contacted the dealer to make them aware of this and they said they don't consider the Carfax report a legitimate history. My son has put much of his college tuition towards keeping the vehicle running. Also the dealership giving us the runaround and not helping us at all. We have spent countless money and hours over this truck and could desperately use some help. Well, the Carfax report is compiled from official sources, chiefly state DMV records, and it is relied upon by dealers nationwide when they are considering which cars to buy at auction or as trade-ins. For years, Carfax primarily served dealers. It's only recently that it's been available to consumers on the Web. Unfortunately, there's more to it than that. If Debra feels the truck was sold to her fraudulently, she needs to consult a local lawyer well-versed in consumer issues. . |
