On 2/28/09 while driving my 2006 Pontiac G6 I lost all control of the steering column which was pulling severly to the left, while the tires seemed to be pulling to the right. Seconds later the entire front wheel assembly fell off of the car.

Car is currently at the dealer while they access damage and cause of this problem. Officer responding to my trouble on 2/28/09 told me that if I had been on the interstate, driving at a high speed, that this would have been a catastrophic accident.

We purchased a Pontiac GM8-2009 in October 2008. We had an accident that requires the front seatbelts to be replaced.

We are now going on our 4th month without a car because GM is unable to provide the part.

Own a 2000 Grand Prix, under warranty the transmission was rebuilt at 50k miles, after that I had it rebuilt a year ago (90K miles) at a cost of 3500.00 since then the shop (aamco has taken it out 2 times under the extended warranty i purshased.

I have been finding antifreeze on top of the engine for a while now took it to the dealer and they did a flush to get rid ofthe gunk inside the radiator also relased the hoses (500.00) they forgot to mention the Dex cool problem, today i have a nock coming from the engine (collapsed lifter) and a leaking manifold gasket.

I purchased this car new in 2000, loved the gas mileage/power, but it has been a rough ride the last few years. and now with a newborn I can afford a new vehicle, when i do it will not be an american car.

3500.00 for transmission, 300.00 P steering pump, 350.00 water pump, and the latest estimate, 1300 for lifters and gasket due to dex-cool leak. Way to go General.
