I took my vehicle in and told the guy at the front desk that I'm hearing a chirping sound coming from the rear passenger side. Two employees took my vehicle around the block. They came back and put vehicle on the lift. I went to the back and watched employee inspect under the vehicle. He pushed the spare tire I had underneath the vehicle oh he says that's where it's coming from. Wow. I said, "Ok great! I'll just tighten it up when I get home." So I did drove it around and the problem was still present. I called the next day and the guy said, "Bring it back and we'll take it for a drive." I said, "That's what you guys did yesterday. No thanks. I'll take it elsewhere." They charge me 46 dollars. Incompetence is so prevalent these days. I think they should stick to changing tires.

The service I received today at the Goodyear on Bladensburg Road NE in Washington, DC was exceptional. Dwayne provided outstanding customer care from start to finish. I initially called to confirm the tire size on my truck, which I originally purchased from this location about two years ago, as I was considering getting replacement tires from the Chevy dealership on highway 210 in Maryland. However, after speaking with Dwayne and receiving a quote for the same tires I previously purchased, my plans changed immediately.

Dwayne was patient, attentive, and genuinely committed to helping me. He took the time to research the information I needed, called me back promptly, and kept me informed throughout the process. That level of communication and professionalism speaks volumes about his customer service skills. Even with the location’s busy schedule, he never appeared irritated or rushed, even when I had to call him back multiple times.

When I arrived, I did not have a long wait because the tires had already been ordered earlier that morning. Dwayne continued to keep me updated and assured me that my truck would be taken care of with great attention and care. This is the type of customer service—and fair pricing—that creates loyal, repeat customers. Because of the excellent experience I had today, I will continue to return to this location for future tire needs and any work on my truck. Thank you so much, Dwayne. Your professionalism is truly appreciated.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! August 2025 took car in for rattle changed shocks and bushings. Eight months later, noise is back, find out they only replaced bushing on one side, they are sold in pairs no less. Had the car all day and charged 260.00 for a bushing which sell for about $40.00 and rattle is worse. They wanted me to bring car in again next day to try and replace something else. No detail on bill of work. Total rip off. Manager should sell used cars. If you want to over pay and get crappy work this is the place for you.

This statement concerns issues that arose following service at the Goodyear location on Jericho Turnpike in Commack, NY. On October 17, 2025, I brought my 2017 Audi A4 to Goodyear for an oil change, a tire inspection/rotation, and to check an intermittent coolant warning light. The representative, Lee, stated the coolant system was fine, one tire needed replacement, and the rest of the vehicle was in good condition. Shortly after, I was told the coolant “breathing tube” broke while the vehicle was being lowered and that the car was undrivable. The following day, I was quoted over $525 for the repair, which I declined, and the vehicle was towed to my mechanic.

My mechanic replaced the breathing tube but found the car would not shift gears. He discovered the oil reservoir had been overfilled with dirty oil, causing smoke and mechanical issues. After draining and replacing the oil, the issue persisted. Further inspection revealed the transmission fluid had been completely drained instead of the engine oil, explaining both the overfilled oil and shifting failure.

I returned to Goodyear on October 23 and received a full refund for the oil change. The vehicle was brought back to Goodyear on October 24. Goodyear confirmed my mechanic’s diagnosis and stated the turbo boost needed replacement at their expense. I was assured the replacement would be sourced directly from Audi, which later proved to be false. Delays followed due to missing parts, and the vehicle remained at Goodyear until November 5.

During this period, I was initially denied a rental car but was later reimbursed for rentals and Uber rides. Upon return, the vehicle had a strong fuel odor, missing underbody fasteners, and later leaked coolant. Goodyear provided conflicting explanations, and the car was eventually taken to Audi of Smithtown, which identified a cracked coolant line.

As the fuel odor persisted, I brought the vehicle to Legend Audi in Massapequa. They determined the turbo was a used junkyard part, improperly installed with missing seals and only one bolt securing it. Goodyear management falsely claimed the turbo was purchased from Audi dealers. Store receipts later confirmed the part came from a junkyard. After contacting Goodyear corporate directly, a claim was opened and approved within hours, and Audi was authorized to complete the necessary repairs.

They only gave me $250 and said that the rewards program I had wasn’t right, it was this email. After reviewing our rebate programs, it appears that a service rebate was not available at the time of your purchase. For your convenience, I have attached a copy of the rebate form for reference.

Had an oil change at Goodyear on Girvin Road in Jacksonville, Florida in October 2025. Several weeks later oil was leaking from under the car so I took it back to Goodyear and was told I need $3,000 word of work on the vehicle to repair the problem. I explained there was no leak before the oil change. The two service techs were matter of fact with on tech grinning at the other. I’d already spent almost $700 before and now the wanted another $3,000. I’m taking my vehicle to another company and will not be back to Goodyear. I did not like the treatment or attitude of the techs. I received no receipt for charges quoted.

The WORST! I paid $600 for new brakes, and had a minor collision brakes failed. Goodyear a short time later did vehicle inspection and passed the vehicle inspection. Another mechanic found out the clips were not attached. Hateful customer service, very rude when brought to their attention. Refused to do anything about since they noted no problem with the brakes. Especially if you are a woman, avoid this store.

Customer Service has gone downhill for the Goodyear FXBG Location off McWhirt Loop. I personally spoke with the new store Manager, JOEL, for a quote on spark plug replacement + oil change. The price point he gave me was approx $325. There is no denying this since 1) I wrote it down and 2) all calls are recorded on my cellphone which I can add an audio clip HTML link to this review for anyone who wants to hear it. I would never make something like that up.

When I arrived to Goodyear this morning at 8AM for my appointment - after driving 65mi from Richmond at 7AM in the morning- I was shocked to discover the quote had skyrocketed by $150 dollars with no viable explanation. I immediately advised the store clerk assisting me, ROBERT, that this was unacceptable. I told him that I've been a loyal customer for years and l felt annoyed that I had blindly placed my trust in JOEL just to be bait & switched. ROBERT snarkily responded, "Well I certainly don't want you to feel taken advantage of so you can take your business to another shop and I can delete this ticket".

I found his comment incredibly rude and disrespectful. Not one single "I'm sorry", empathetic statement, nor attempt at mediation. Not to mention JOEL, the store Manager who caused the entire ordeal, made sure to hide in the back office room while all of this transpired. He couldn't even look me in the eye nor bother to step in while ROBERT and I exchanged heated remarks. ROBERT lastly stated that "the new owner of the McWhirt Loop Goodyear has removed all COUPONS, DISCOUNTS, and REBATE options so I was stuck with the bill".

At that point, I called my good friend Nadia at one of Goodyear's competitors and explained the situation to her. She immediately put me on the schedule to have my car fixed at HALF the price JOEL initially quoted me along with a complimentary induction cleaning. So just to make sure we're on the same page: Short-Term Optics: I wasted gas, time, and energy to arrive promptly to an appointment where I was mistreated, dismissed, and embarrassed by JOEL & ROBERT. Which obviously doesn't feel good and has left a sour taste in my mouth.

Long-Term Optics: not only has this Goodyear location lost MY business for the time being, they have also lost the business of my two (2) close friends who I've referred to them as well as my Brother, Mother, and Partner's business as long as JOEL remains the store Manager. I also happen to work at the GEICO Corporate Office up the street. And I'll be making a point to advise my coworkers and post multiple flyers throughout the 5 story building warning people AGAINST doing business with this location to deter as much foot traffic as I possibly can over the course of the next few months.

If I could rate Goodyear zero stars I would. Took my vehicle to Goodyear Auto Services in Greensboro North Carolina for a simple oil leak. I drive a Lexus RX300 and it ran excellent. I've never had an issue with my car except for a small oil leak which required a valve cover gasket replacement. Well attempting to replace the gasket the mechanic broke four bolts off the back of my motor beating them to try to charge me $2,000 more for the bolts and labor. In order to remove the broken bolts in my motor and transmission had to be dropped to get to them to drill them out.

When I got the call that my vehicle was ready it was picked up and would not go in reverse first and second gear were jumping and needless to say I had no clue what they had done to my vehicle at that point. I drove my vehicle in there with no issues drove perfect got it back from them and it wouldn't drive at all. It is now going on 2 months they've taken my vehicle to two transmission specialists because they didn't like what the first transmission specialist had to say it in their diagnostic report. Now my car sits in a transmission shop and the manager at the transmission shop as well as myself have no idea what's going on. We're getting no communication and he's going to start charging me storage fees for vehicle.

Goodyear had towed over to the transmission shop because they're not communicating whatsoever. The managers, district managers, everyone tells me oh there's a claim filed but nobody is telling me anything about anything so here I am 2 months without a vehicle having to get rental cars, Ubers, Lyfts, missing work, missing doctor's appointments for my children and very important things because they damaged my transmission.

The transmission specialist stated it was very clear they did not put my transmission back in properly and busted gears and lines to the transmission. I have never taken a car to a mechanic shop in my life and I never will again. Goodyear needs to be shut down. The mechanics are not qualified for what they are attempting to do and it seems all they're trying to do is make the company more money at anybody's expense. Goodyear has had my vehicle longer than I have. I just acquired it a month ahead of time and I'll probably never get it back and running from. Thanks Goodyear for nothing.

I brought my car in for brakes since I had to push the brake pedal to the floor to brake. They found a few issues with the brakes and said they were fixed. Drove the car of the lot and the brake pedal still has to hit the floor in order to stop. I asked them if I could bring it back for them to take a look and they said OK. I brought it to them at 8:00 AM for a 9:00 AM appointment. It's now almost 4:00 PM and they still haven't worked on the car. They made a mistake but yet I have to wait. This is the last time I will ever go there. Last year they messed up installing my exhaust, I had to bring it somewhere else to get it fixed. These people don't know what they are doing!

Goodyear Auto Service on 35th Ave and Union Hills Dr. Glendale AZ. I've been taking my cars to this service center for 15 years. I grew to trust them implicitly. They have performed every oil change on my cars since 2010. Additionally, during this time, I've also purchased four sets of expensive, premium tires; three alone on my Dodge Challenger. I have had shocks replaced, and other repairs done at this Goodyear over the years.

I made an appointment to have my oil changed and tires rotated last Friday, 5-16-25. I did not walk in cold, I scheduled the oil change the day before. Since they always do the 29 point inspection, and I trust them to be honest with me, I specifically requested they check my power steering fluid and PS motor as it's been feeling a bit wonky lately and I thought the PS fluid might be low. They told me sure, no problem. Then I sat down and waited, and waited and WAITED for 4 freakin hours!

When they were finally done, I inquired about the power steering fluid. I was told that I was right, the PS fluid was indeed low, but they don't carry PS fluid, however they said, I could just go to any auto parts store and buy it. I mentioned that I didn't even know where the fill tube was and they said that the auto parts place would show me.

I stopped at O'Reilly and bought the fluid but when the associate came out to show me where the fill tube was, he wasn't able to find it either. So, I took my Challenger to an auto service garage to have the PS fluid put in. The mechanic had to remove my left front tire and the lining inside the wheel well. 30 minutes later, the mechanic told me that my particular vehicle doesn't require PS fluid because the power steering is electronic. This goose chase cost me another $80.

Goodyear Auto Service flat out lied to my face because there was no PA fluid to check.

Suffice to say, this stupid, and unnecessary, bold faced lie cost them 15 years of earned trust, as well as my patronage. Here's the karma part: Firestone just built a Firestone Complete Auto Care center directly across the street from this Goodyear Auto Service! It's on the very same intersection as Goodyear. Hey Goodyear, on 35th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Glendale Az, here's the really bad news - I'm going to paste this scathing review on every auto service forum and review site I can find, including FB, Insta, Tik Tok, LinkedIn etc. You shouldn't lie to anyone, ever, but especially a loyal, solid 15 year customer.

The store stated they were extra. So needless to say I didn’t get new kits. That was a deciding factor for me choosing Goodyear. 2nd when I had tires installed I got in my truck all my tires were different pressures. I went back inside and told them. Well they lowered all the pressures to recommend pressures. 3rd none of the tires had valve cap I mentioned it to the guy getting the pressure corrected his response was did you have them when you came in. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Goodyear. I’m not sure if it is lack of training or lack of care.

I go to this location (1815 Oregon Ave - Philadelphia 19145) because it's convenient. However, this shop needs real leadership attention and the Goodyear policy that they frequently cite needs to be reviewed. First, the place is filthy dirty and most of the front-end staff need better customer service training. Second, this location and others that I have been to seem to thrive on ripping customers off for services they say they perform. Example, with every oil change the tires are supposed to be rotated. Yet, in the last 2 oil changes that I had, where I expressly requested the tires be rotated, they were not. When I call it to their attention, they say "The best tires are on the back", this is a Goodyear policy.

Here is the rip off. Using that logic, tires will never be rotated. On both of my vehicles, they have brand new tires (all 4). Both vehicles are front wheel drive. By definition, front tires will always wear more because of the engine weight and turning. The back wheels will only roll straight - no weight. Their logic will always lead to NOT rotating the tires. The tires should always be rotated to ensure even wear. Their strategy is to eventually sell you (2) tires - the front! Beware and insist to have your tires rotated and mark your tires to ensure they perform the service that you pay for and be prepared to be annoyed when trying to discuss it with the front end staff.

Upon check out, the pricing was $70 instead of the promo price. The cashier/csr was kind enough, and even took some money off where she could. I paid the $59 but the price felt like a 'punch in the gut' to a single mom on a single income. On the way home, I got a call from the manager, Rob Austera, that the cashier/csr brought the issue to his attention. Apparently there was a systematic glitch along the way.
