Save up to $379 on Your Auto Insurance. Compare Quotes from Top Providers Now! Find the Best Deal and Apply! - Adv. Mrs. of Ft. Myers, FL January 23, 2010 On June 22, 2009 I purchased a vehicle (2005 chevrolet trailblazer, serial#: 1GNDT13S452264191) from Hubler Chevrolet (Philip P.-salesman) for $12,127.38, cash, check# 1020 ...$11,334.00 plus 793.38 tax in agreement with their signed contract to me dated 6/22/09. Then On July 9th, 2009 Larry S. from Hubler called me and said they need an additional $989.00 because they obtained the wrong payoff. I was told to pay the additional money to them or return the vehicle. I was given 3 different prices for this vehicle and I ended up paying the highest price in good faith as it is. Now they were asking for more money AFTER the contract was signed by both parties and paid in full. I then paid the additional $989.00 on July 13, 2009 and was told that they will not ask me for any more money. I wrote to the owner, Bradley H., on July 27th, 2009 and then again on September 21, 2009 along with John H. and Joseph M. asking them to invistigate the un-ethical practices that went on at their company. I have not heard back from anyone nor was my $989.00 returned. This dealer is un-ethical and asking for more money ($989.00) was extortion. I am retired and this is alot of money. I have spent hours and hours of time trying to get my money back and this situation has caused a great deal of stress and financial burden. Report Your Experience
