feb 24 1:10 came in to for an 5 points oil change at 34.99 but paid 95.00 at the end. I was told my filters, cabin and air filters were filthy that i need need to change them. I said, i no i will ask my husband first. He says he will give a discount and that if I buy the 60 filter he will give me the other one free. I have no knowledge of cars and i ask him is this how much air filter cost? its pretty pricey. He says, yes, everywhere else would cost me more and I am actually getting a good deal.

Trusting him that I am getting a good deal I say go ahead. A few minutes later, I was approached by a cashier lady who told me that she can cash me out now if I was ready. Thinking that this was how it was done. I went and paid for the total bill. I asked the cashier again, if this is what filters really cost. It seems pretty high. She just shrugs her shoulder. I was asked to sign a customer rating number. I felt I was put on the spot and since all of them were friendly I gave them a good rating. I go outside back to my van, and the gentleman who sold me that filter comes up to me and says that he did not have the cabin filter in stock and that it was ok, just come back tomorrow.

THis after I paid an almost 100 srvc! I asked if they had performed that 5 points services listed on the check list and they claimed they did. But I can't help shake the feeling that I have been swindled. I should have stuck with just the oil change. But they were very convincing that i needed it done and that he was giving me one of the best deals around!

Well i have 3 kids to feed! I also feel I was mislead! I am out about 70 dollars.

My wife went in for an oil change. He tried to get her to do an engine flush at 69.99. He tried to get her to change the air filter. Wanted to clean the engine. Misrepresented an oil upgrade by selling her a synthetic oil at a 40 dollar upcharge. The advertised price is 18.99 with a coupon. We had no coupon so 36.99. However75.99+25.00+69.99 is what he attemted to scare her with. Simply because she is a woman. Overcharge of 40.00 plus an attempt to intimidate for an additional almost 100 dollars for a simple oil change process.

I went to Jiffy Lube in Melrose and La Brea to change my oil and filter. They told me that it was going to take just a few minutes for the evaluation. I wait and wait and wait and all I see was all the emplyes lauphing and joeking around. When they came back they told me your car need this and that and from 39.99 that was going to cost me they said that everything was going to cost me over 150.00 dollars. I did not believe them but I said ok if that is what I need lets do it. I never so anybody working on my car.

When I went to complaint with the front desk one of the employes told me to step outside and start telling me that I was wrong by complaining and treating me really disrespectfull. I told him that he did not have any right to talk to me like that and I told them that I was never going to return to any Jiffy Lube in my life. Not me, not my family or friends because a word of mouth is really powerfull....

I believe that they over charge me and I have heard other bad coments about Jiffy lube so I know that day something whent wrong....

My wife brought in our 2009 Toyota Corolla in for an oil change asked for the mid range oil and was charged 68.41. Without asking they did an engine treatment without asking if she wanted it. I went back the next day to complain and was told she was given what is called the signature service. 37.99 +24.99 engine treatment. This was not asked for. There are no prices posted anywhere. She wasn't asked if this was what she wanted or explained that this was what she would get. Not very professional. I will not use them again. Store # 1248. This is a 2009 Toyota with 4674 miles.
