Jim's Dodge, Omaha, NE

E.A. of Omaha writes:

I have bought Dodge Intrepid in March 98 and ever since that time my car keeps breaking. (brakes, radio, battery, window mechanism, no heat, broken thermostat etc....). I am still under warranty and at first when I brought my car back to the dealer to repair they were OK and even provided transportation for me (home-work).

After a while they started to give me an attitude, getting tired of me -- but it is not my fault the car keeps breaking. I started to be very concerned after my car wouldn't start even right after the repair.

Yesterday (Feb 11) it was a terrible blizzard in Omaha and everybody had to leave early from work because of the weather condition, but I couldn't start my car again. I called my dealer and asked for help (I needed to pick up my child immediately from the day care, because that place was closing as well) , but the dealer didn't do anything, just put me on hold, didn't send a towing truck, didn't even talk to me and disconnected me.

I called again and asked for a manager, but he also was indifferent to my problem, saing "I understand you have problems with your car, but is not our problem now."  It was terrible to hear that.  My car was a program car and, as they claimed, in "excellent condition" at the time of sale. Even though the car is under warranty the dealer refused to help me.

Isn't is strange how quickly cars deteriorate?   There they are, all shiny and in excellent condition.  A few weeks later, they're a smoking dusty wreck.  Ms. A. should head down to Small Claims Court and file a claim against Jim's for breach of warranty (assuming she has a copy of the warranty).
