Midas - Incidental Damage |
|||||||
|
We took my car in for an estimate on repairs of the catalytic converter. Jim (the supposed asst. mgr.) told my husband and me the cost of the repairs, but since the "manager" was out that day and if we had the repairs done that day, that the cost would be less. We decided to look at used cars (since the car was older) and told Jim that we would be back to let him know if we were going to get it repaired. When my husband went to open the passenger door for me at the car dealership, he saw a large dent and scratch on the passenger side of the car. We looked at cars and then went directly back to Midas. Jim and another person told us that they did not cause the damage and that we needed to "prove it". The only proof we had, which was our word against theirs, was the dent and scratch was not there when we drove into Midas. I called Midas several times and the supposed manager is never in. I tried to get on their website to make a complaint and it is not available. I can't believe that a place of business can treat you like this. Report Your Experience
