Korrie of Fort Myers FL (9/5/03):
I purchased a 1997 Saturn SC2 brand new at the Fort Myers, FL dealership. For 6 yrs now I have had the same ongoing problem w/the car. The black rubber strip on the inside of the driver's side door keeps leaking black sticky glue, which I continue to get all over my car seats, visors, headliner and my clothes (I have ruined many articles of clothing because I am unable to get the stains out).

When I brought the car in the first time, I was told they were aware of the problem happening w/other vehicles, so I assumed they fixed it. However, here we are again on my third or fourth time trying to get it fixed and all I get from the service manager (Ken) is, "I spoke w/parts dept at Corp Headqtrs and they said they are aware of the problem and are looking into resolving it".

If Saturn knew about the problem 6 years ago, how much longer do I have to wait and who is going to reinburse me for my clothes and pay me to continually get my car professionally cleaned due to the black sticky glue which I get all over my car?
