Deceptive business practics to get you financed. Inflated the sticker price of vehicle to cover extended warantee and GAP insurance, but never issued these insurances or warantee. Also promised to give me a sunroof never follow thru. Overcharged and down right lied and wants to to lie to finance company regarding your down payment.

A lawsuit will finally put their unfair practices toward the consumer to a REST! They must be held liable for what they do to consumers.

Not insured properly and no protection of you vehicle.

I need help pretty bad with the way Central Kia of Plano had screwed me over!! It all started when my vehicle that I had purchased from them 2 yrs ago started acting up. The a.c. went out on it and I needed to get it serviced. I wanted to see their hours of service so I went online and had seen they had an advertisement for 4000 off their Sorentos. It also had another place that said see what your trade in would be and it had a coupon to present to get that price off if you end up trading your vehicle in up there.

I really didnt think much of it but I ended up getting a phone call from a representative there and she said come on in and we will make it happen for you and your payments would be around the same price. I originally was just bringing the car up there so the mechanic could look at my car because they said they could not work on it till the following week because I had an extended warrantee on it (they also told me to cancell). So after calling her three times to cancel she persuaded me to just see what was up.

I sat there 6 hours that night and within those six hours they said the women on the phone was wrong and she was getting fired for the information she gave me. She was not because she is still there taking my angry phone calls to this day. I tried to leave but they were very persistent on getting me into the car. They didnt even know about this advertisement till I showed them on the internet.

From the get go I should have learned, but I was graduating from college and thought you can afford a little bit higher payment and I deserved it cause I am also a single mother. They did after all give me the deal that was spoken about on the phone but they had to bring the general manager in off his vacation to finish me off. When I was signing paper work they told me if the bank asked I put 1000 down, which I had not.

I signed the paper work and they told me they would mail them to me the next week. So that night I thought I was driving away in my FIRST brand new car, I mean I tore the wrapper off!! Three weeks later I noticed they were still taking payments out of my checking account for my old car so I called up there. The manager said I just needed to bring in my social security card and another thing showing my address cause I had just move 2 months before that and things were not matching up. I was fine with that because they promised to fix the problem and also had me stop payment at my bank for the car I traded in. So I did.

Needless to say when I got there I was in for a big shock! They had fired all the people that had been a part of my deal including management (ya right, I wont believe that one again) and said that the bank would not pay them back for the rebate so they needed my brand new car back. I argued with them for another 2 hours asking how can this happen after three weeks, they said they had tried calling but my cell phone said it was disconnected!!

I dont understand how everyone else in the world got a hold of me in those three weeks but them! I was livid, I told them no cause they did not have my trade in there anymore and they wanted to give me a loner till they got it back.

They offered going through other banks to get an approval but as you can see I was lied to the whole time and I did not want to purchase my first new car from them anymore. They wanted my keys to the new vehicle back and I refused, but they said if I drove off the lot they would have the police take it back. I graduate college this Thursday and being a single mom I did not want to chance going to jail so I did what they wanted. The deal went wrong because the bank did not want to give them the money back on the rebate and they were not interested in taking it out of their pocket.

I asked how can you not back up that if its your rebate. I have gotten the run around and still do not understand. They loaner they have given me to drive around in, let me remind you I am a single mother, is leaking water all over the floor board, its surging and it has a hard time starting up! I feel unsafe in this thing; I just dont understand how they could have two cars in my name and make me leave with neither of the two. It took me six hours to land the deal and two more to take it back and now I have to drive this POS. Just a total mess! I AM STILL SHAKEN UP OVER THIS WHOLE ORDEAL.

Their is a little more to the story but my main thing is they should not be able to lie to people, get them in and make a deal, then take it back weeks later? I feel very violated because they took every advantage to take advantage of me. Can you please investigate and show them this is wrong and you can not do this to people especially women who are by themselves!!!

Went to purchase a new rio 5 - going to trade in a 2001 spectra w/127000 miles on it. Advertized sales pitch from Central Kia = drive drag or push your old car in and we'll give you 3000.00 trade in for it! (Spectra is in fair condition - blue book is 5000.00)

They backed out of the sale after they found out I would not pay for an extended warrenty - and I would not finance through them!

This company is a complete rip off! They do not care about the customer at all and they tried to rip me off during the pricing stage of the game too! Bringing me this great deal of 100 off the sticker price + tax and lic. Jerks! So I fought about that and did get the 3000.00 for the trade in - but they kept us there for nearly 3 hours messing around until finally they decided they were going to pull out of the deal! KEEPING 2 OF THE 6 PAPERS MY DAUGHTER HAD SIGNED! They are cheats and should be fined for their unethical business practices!

I came home and called a lawyer, he asked that before I bring a false advertizing suit against them to try contacting a different dealership to see if they would make things right.

I called Huffines Kia in McKinney, the manager apologized for the actions of Central Kia but said since his dealership was independent of Central he thankfully had no business dealings with them, but has had several with their very unhappy clients!

I will be calling my lawyer back and try to retrive the 2 papers my daughter signed that they refused to give us. And I plan to sue them for anything my lawyer thinks we can sue them for! I don't care if I make any money or anything off this suit or not - I care that this dealership should be shut down! Or at the very least heavyly fined!!!

We paid them 3200.00 on 8-19-08 to replace engine, radiator, hoses, belts and parts associated with problems under the hood. My son picked up the car 8-19 & noticed the speedometer was working sporadically (it was fully working when he dropped it off 8-3-08. He took it back the next day and Central Kia said my son must have kicked something under the dash and now the speedometer needs replacing (200-400). We did not replace it. Yesterday (9-4-08) the car stopped.

My son could not boost it off so the Police helped him tow it to AutoZone who ruled out the battery, alternator and starter - He Towed the car back to Central Kia who said after coordinating with the tech hotline that it could be the computer but they didn't have a replacement part to test it and agreed to call me when they know more. Rusty Wiley just called and advised now we need to replace the Fuse Block costing 526.00.

Everytime Central Kia TOUCHES the car, something else goes wrong. They claim to be thorough in their diagnostics and make all the necessary repairs but I believe they are taking advantage of consumers. They refuse to give a direct number to the Owner, President or CEO...instead they take a message. We've never heard from an Owner to assume responsibility for their service. Kia consumer care hotline 800-333-4542 is no help...stating they will not get between the dealership and customer disputes (what are they for then if not to be a mediator???). I am so frustrated and feel helpless and vulnerable. Can you help.

Central Kia is trying to get more money out of us. I now don't believe the car need the repairs they claim, and if it does the damage is a result of their incompetence in repairing the car in the first place. In the meantime, my son has to find a way to work (Central Kia does not provide loaner cars) and he missed work on 9-4-08 waiting on them to identify the problem. That cost him a days pay.

Absolutely the worst after purchase experience in my entire life! Be fore warned that the ONLY thing this dealership cares about is taking your hard earned money! There is no value given towards the customer after the dotted line has been signed.

They will make promises they do not intend to keep & forget what they told you, make you do your own follow up on everything, on and on and on. Are you getting the picture? Thank God I only bought a used HONDA from them and won't have to deal with the likes of them again!!
