Elaine of Austin, TX October 23, 2009 I purchased a 2001 A4 in 2007. Being aware that its an older car I also purchased a very expensive extended warranty. The problems began a few months after I purchased the car and have never stopped. I've had everything from ignition coils going out to very loud scraping noises coming from my engine that the dealership still cannot figure out. Since I have purchased the vehicle I have spent over $5000 in repairs (under warranty) because the dealership seems to "miss" things over and over again. This last time was their last chance. They first told me the engine noise was coming from a piece of metal that was stuck between the transmission. A piece of metal?! What piece of metal?? They couldn't tell me. They proceeded to take apart my engine and transmission to pull out this piece of metal and insisted that they needed to take it apart to figure out what exactly was wrong with my engine. Nothing. They found nothing. I had to pay $1000 to get my car after this specialized dealership could find nothing after 3 times that I took the car for the same problem. This was 3 weeks ago. Today, my check engine light came on again. I'm completely at a loss of what to do. I do not trust them at all. This is just one example of the problems and the carelessness that has come from the Roger Beasley Audi dealership in Austin and the endless problems I've had with this vehicle. I have spent about $5000 on continual repairs that have never really been resolved. Report Your Experience
