We are very upset with Toyota of Fort Worth. We made a deposit of 500.00 on a new 2009 Toyota Sienna on 12/24/08 on our Discover card. Then on 12/26/08 we received a better deal on a 2009 Toyota Sienna. I telephoned our sales person on 12/26/08 and said we received a better offer and to cancel the sale. His boss then came to the telephone and said he would not refund the 500.00 to us. I believe we have 3 days to cancel the sale in Texas.

Toyota of Fort Worth did not have the vehicle we wanted on their lot and had to order it from the State of Oklahoma. We do not know how long it would be transported to Texas. They did not say. I have contacted Discover card, and the are investigating this and my take 1 month. Don't we have any rights to get our refund of 500.00 back. Out sales person, Barry was very nice and I went in to see him and said no hard feelings, and he said he understood. His Boss, Grey was very irate and short with me and said he would not give my refund back. This is not good business for this dealership. Thank you!

Peter of Fort Worth, TX October 4, 2008

We are very upset with Toyota of Fort Worth. On September 25, My wife and I put a 500 deposit down on a Prius. We were to pick up the car on September 27th. That night we had second thoughts and on September 26, we stopped by and canceled the sale. I apologized and explained that we were too hasty and felt pressured into buying on the spot. I did not think we would loose the 500, but they charged the bank right after that.

We now are a little short of money. I don't think this is right since we bought from the same dealer a long time ago and own a 7 year old Lexus (Toyota) from another dealer.
