I went in to have an oil change yesterday. When I pulled up, I was the only customer there and was directed to pull my car in to the garage area. When I stopped the car, I realized that two of the workers were throwing odds and evens to see who HAD to handle my oil change. Maybe I'm a little sensitive, but I feel like doing oil changes is their job and I'm sorry if doing mine was an inconvenience to either of them. As far as customer service, there was none. As usual, they tried to talk me in to services that I didn't feel were necessary, offering me a great price. My early bird basic oil change is now priced at 44. Prices hace definitely gone up (or I was cheated). The job was completed in about 5 minutes. I seriously doubt that I got what I paid for. Considering the lack of customer service and the high price, I will start taking my car to Firestone, Goodyear, etc. I'm not going to waste my time with Valvoline. This particular store has been taking care of our three cars for years. Not any more !!! I don't want to be a bother to the workers who didn't seem to have anything else to do at 8:30am.

I got an oil change from Volvoline on 10/22/08.In December I noticed oil was leaking. My car is a 2008 Jaguar with only about 16,000 miles on it. Itook car back to Valvoline who put another filter on. The next day my car stopped while I was driving on the highway. Had to have it towed to Jaguar dealer who said Valvoline had installed the filter on wrong. To make a long story short,The engine was ruined as all the oil was blown out. It cost me over 17,000.00 and valvoline does not even respon to my requests for compensation. Ihave file suit, but they have not even answered the Complaint even though suit was filed three months ago.

I have a 2002 pontiac grand am, my vehicle has been making loud noises, shaking pulling and vibrating. I went to start my car one day and it wouldn't start. I had to have my vehicle towed to a dealership to find out what happened, my battery was low so i needed a new battery and a tune up. After all of that was complete the dealership informed me that my problem was coming from my motor, they stated and written a statement that says due to the oil filter not being changed oil would not get up to the upper motor and they foung metal shavings in the old filter.

I have been without my vehicle for a few weeks. I need my vehicle for my job, I manage three job sites and need reliable transportation to complete my job requirements. Since the incident i have been getting parking tickets almost every night because my vehicle will not start and i have no where to put my vehicle but leave it on the streets. It has been very stressful not having my vehicle i've been walking to and from which is not safe for a young lady to do.

I just finished paying my car off last year June, i never thought within less than a year my vehicle would not be working due to negligence when getting my oil changed. It has been stressful and depressing for me and others to depend on them for rides. Due to this negligence i will either need a new motor or have it rebuilt or buy a new vehicle which i don't have the funds to do either.

ON 2/27/09 I took my car for an oil change at Valvoline (3925 route 31, Liverpool, NY 13090). After I left the parking lot of Valvoline the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on. I drove my car to my machanic in Plainville to find out why the light went on. When he was done he asked me if anyone had been under the HOOD OF MY CAR BECAUSE A HOSE WAS DISCONNECTED WHICH CAUSED MY SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT TO GO ON. The Valvoline technician didn't hook the HOSE back together when he was done. When I called the store and spoke to the manager and told him what happened he said what do you want me to do about it in a snippy tone.

I had to cancel my appointment to get my car inspected because it wont pass sense the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on. I have to drive my car over 400 miles (wasting my time and gas)to get my car to reset itself, because the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light was on, so it will pass inspection. Valvolines response is to take NO RESPONSIBLITY for the actions of their employees or the problems they cause their loyal customers. I have gone to Valvoline instant oil change for many of years. I WILL NEVER GO THEIR AGAIN AND I RECOMMEND AN IMMEDIATE BOYCOTT OF ALL VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE FACILITIES IN EVERY STATE UNTIL THEY LISTEN AND COMPENSATE THEIR CUSTOMERS.
