Tim of Visalia, CA November 9, 2009 A representative came to my house named Jorge and went over a contract with me for a credit card machine for my business. Jorge would continue to answer my questions to his knowledge, in order for me to sign the contract. when asked specific questions, such as, are there any other hidden fees, He responded "no this it all there is". the original monthly payment fot the machine was 80 a month , this included the cost of the machine and all mastercard visa tranactions. When I received my first bill it was $160.00 dollars and was this every month after that. I called to talk to Jorge, but to all avail he was fired for misleading customers into signing contracts. I then told them end the contract, bring somebody over who knows what there talking about and we will start over. The said no your stuck in the contract for 4 years not 2 like i was told. So four years times $160.00 equals $7,680......Is this legal. Even thought they fired the individual for lieing to customers, would the customers which were affected have the option to opt out of the contracts, I mean the do admit he was at fault. Now a company called northern leasing is ruining my credit and threating lawyer actions if i don't start paying. I feel I am entitled to all the money I payed to this company in 100% refund.
