I have been a customer for over 10 years. I always had the cheapest plan. Talk and text basic. Do love space for pics though. I recently had a problem with Google Messages. A lot of my messages were disappearing. Group messages were splitting into 2 groups. One with all photos and one with text. Eventually all my pics were gone. I did some research and found out it was an app problem. I knew it was about time for a new phone so I bought one. Just a Galaxy A16, nothing fancy. I thought I knew what I was doing by activating and switching it all over myself.
Well after half a day freaking out because it was not connecting and my old phone disconnected already I decided to call Boost. I did get transferred a couple times (technical, couldn't text me so then confirmation area, then another technical type thing) but in the end a lady named Azalea saved the day. Well it turns out the new phones do not use physical sim cards and I had my old one in. My bad, but she walked me through it and did a GREAT JOB. Had it fixed really quick. Everyone else I spoke to was really nice too but she was the one who fixed my problem.

Marissa was extremely helpful. She answered my customer service call cheerful and calming. I had to have my phone taken off of the lost and stolen list as well as my service restored. Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours and thankfully it was within our 20 to 30 minute phone call. And she was engaging in conversation during that time. I believe that's above and beyond. She could have just left me on hold.

I would strongly caution others before doing business with Boost Mobile based on my recent experience. I originally purchased a phone through a Boost Mobile store, but the device frequently lost service and would switch to "Emergency Calls Only" despite showing a strong 5G signal. Believing the issue might be with the phone itself, I chose to spend additional money and purchase a replacement phone directly through Boost Mobile. Unfortunately, the replacement phone never arrived. Boost Mobile shipped the package through UPS, and it was routed to a UPS facility in another state, where it was ultimately lost in transit. The tracking information stopped updating, and the package has not resurfaced.
What has been most frustrating is the lack of resolution. Although I purchased the phone from Boost Mobile, I was told that UPS is responsible for resolving the issue and that Boost Mobile would not provide a replacement device or refund while the investigation is ongoing. UPS has advised that investigations into lost packages can take up to 90 days. As a customer, I find this unacceptable. My purchase agreement was with Boost Mobile, not UPS. The carrier was selected by Boost Mobile, not by me. Yet I am being left without the phone I paid for while waiting months for a shipping investigation to conclude.
To make matters worse, I have now gone more than three weeks without a usable phone. I have continued paying for wireless service while being unable to fully use that service due to the issues with the original device and the missing replacement phone. During this process, no service credit, temporary solution, replacement device, or other accommodation has been offered. I have made reasonable requests, including:• A refund for the phone I paid for but never received.• A replacement phone.• The option to cancel the shipment and pick up a replacement device at a local Boost Mobile store.
All of these requests were denied. Consumers should know that under general customer service standards, when a product purchased from a retailer is lost before delivery, customers typically expect the seller to assist in resolving the issue, provide a replacement, or issue a refund while pursuing the claim with the shipping carrier. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
After spending additional money to remain a customer, I am still without the phone I paid for and without a satisfactory resolution. All I want is either the device I purchased or a refund. I do not believe that is an unreasonable request. Based on my experience, Boost Mobile has shown very little concern for customer satisfaction or accountability when problems arise.

I have been with Boost Mobile for years, never had my service disconnected for non payment but here we are and I'm having all kinds of issues with my bill... When I contacted customer service I got nowhere. I told her that when I purchased the phone at the local Boost Mobile retail store that I was given another price, she proceeded to tell me that they are trying to figure out a resolution of why the retailer is offering the services for a different price.. So they will just continue to overcharge me and take my money and anyone else going through this till they figure it out. She offered to return the 20 increase in my bill this month like a credit but next month I will be charged the 20 and the months after..
Boost stores have the name Boost. They sell the merch and are all together but apparently they don't work together cause the retailer can say and sell you whatever and Boost mobile can change the charge. I spoke with Wendy, she was like a lead or something. She told me I couldn't go any higher that there was no one else I could speak with so there it is. So now I'm stuck here with Boost till my phones can be unlocked and I can move my service!!! This experience is just unbelievable so since there is no one else besides Wendy... I'm going to let you know before you make the same mistake

I am not now nor will I ever be a Boost Mobile customer. Last month somebody created what I assume is a fake Boost Mobile account and used my email address when they signed up. I called customer support and explained the situation to them and asked them to close the account or at the very least remove my email address from the account. After placing me on hold the rep came back and told me to email the Usage team and gave me their email address. I emailed them on May 8th (the same day I called customer service) explaining that the CS rep I spoke to on the phone gave me this address to send my request to. They responded the very same day and simply said "please contact customer service today at 1-833-502-6678 for assistance".
After looking at my phone's outgoing history I see that the number they provided is the same number I originally called, so I replied back and explained that to them and said I don't feel like getting caught in a loop and that I just want my email address removed from this fake account. The initial reply from the usage team on May 8th is the ONLY reply I have gotten from them to date (June 1st) even though I have sent 3 follow-up messages since then asking for updates. I never signed up for their service nor did I provide consent to receive emails from them yet I continue to get both marketing and account usage emails daily. I don't know what else to do other than looking into what my legal options are. Maybe I can open a small claims case against them.

Boost Mobile is a very negative iPhone company who doesn't appreciate loyal customers and they have been contacting me twice to stress me out. They need to focus on being professional, making loyal customers happy, and stop stressing loyal customers for any reason. I remember in 2016 Boost Mobile was very professional and nice. I don't know what happen to Boost Mobile but they need to be careful how they treat loyal customers. A successful business is not always base on how much money you make but how you treat your customers.

Recently they sent me a text saying my data was running out. When I called customer service for boost and told them I had unlimited everything they didn't want to hear it. The boost representative was very unhelpful. When I told him I was changing providers he said go ahead. Very unprofessional. I switched and have a better plan for less money. I was a long-term Virgin Mobile customer that got stuck with Boost Mobile when Virgin exited the U.S. market and gave my account over to them in Feb 2020. Initially I didn't have any issues as service has been reliable and I was on autopay. It wasn't until their Customer Service attempted to contact me to try to upsell me that I took a closer look at my Boost Mobile account and discovered that they automatically "upgraded" me from the $25/mo account to a $35/mo account with "Dish TV" service added and then added another $5/mo for a third-party add-on service called "Unlimited Gamez", all without my permission or authorization.
I removed the add-on and upon "downgrading" my service back to what it was before the "Dish TV" for an additional $10/mo and the add-on for "Unlimited Gamez" for an additional $5/mo the "Unlimited Gamez" was automatically added back on! Then, the $25/mo plan was automatically updated back to the $35/mo plan! There is no way to escape this add-on or "upgraded" service that they have been fraudulently been billing me for an additional $15/mo for several years! At best their Billing is a scam. I'm unlocking my number and going elsewhere.

Boost Mobile was an absolute nightmare to deal with, and the entire experience felt shady, obstructive, and intentionally designed to waste customers’ time. I signed up to try the service, but the reception in my office was poor, so I decided to cancel and port my number out. That should have been a routine request. Instead, when I called customer service to get my port-out PIN, the agent would not just do his job. He kept trying to pressure me to stay by pushing other deals, even after I clearly said I was not interested. It took 35 minutes just to get a simple port-out PIN. That is ridiculous. On top of that, the agent was rude, unprofessional, and unpleasant to deal with.
After I ported out, I went on Boost Mobile’s website to turn off auto-pay so I would not get charged again. The website made it look like auto-pay was disabled, but then the toggle would switch itself back on literally one second later. In other words, the website function did not actually work. I had to call customer service again and spend another 30 minutes trying to get help with something that should have taken seconds online.
Then I asked for the 30-day money-back guarantee refund. Instead of handling it properly, I got transferred to another department, where the next agent told me I had to enroll back in auto-pay in order to get my refund. That is beyond absurd. Why would I re-enable auto-pay after already fighting to turn it off, especially when I was trying to avoid being charged again? At that point, I gave up on the refund because I did not trust this company enough to risk another billing problem.
This was not just bad customer service. It felt like a deliberate pattern of stalling, retention pressure, broken website functionality, and refund roadblocks. When a company makes it this hard to leave, this hard to stop billing, and this hard to claim a so-called guarantee, people should seriously question whether the process is designed that way on purpose.
I would strongly warn anyone considering Boost Mobile to stay away. Between poor reception, rude agents, a website that does not properly disable auto-pay, and what felt like a runaround on the refund promise, this company came across as dishonest and manipulative. Extremely disappointing. Boost Mobile’s so-called customer service and money-back guarantee felt more like a trap than a service. Based on my experience, I would not trust this company with my phone number or my credit card information.

This was absolutely the worst experience with a new phone EVER. My friend bought a phone and then texted me from it that it’s his new number. I called him on it and we talked and made plans to pick him up tomorrow. The next day, I texted him to inform of the time I’d be arriving to pick him up. I received a text “who dis?” I thought he was being funny and didn’t respond. My friend wasn’t waiting when I got there so I texted him that I was waiting and got another response “who dis?” I still think it’s a joke but when he didn’t show up I finally, exasperated, called him. I explained that I had texted him 2x. He told me he didn’t see my texts and when he showed up he showed me his phone. None of the messages I sent showed up in his history and two of the texts I received from him weren’t showing either. He got in the car.
We started driving & my phone rang from his number. It was a FaceTime call and he doesn’t have an iPhone. I asked if he was calling me he said “no”. So we changed our plans and went back to the Boost store to return the phone. I tried to show the employee the messages that I got. He said maybe I needed to add his name to the contract in phone to fix it and then he accused us of deleting messages in my friend’s phone and asked me to send messages right there as a test. I obliged and those messages were never received. Right after sent the test messages I got a response. So the store employee saw me getting messages that he didn’t send from the phone he was holding. Then the store worker said he hears stories like that approx once a week. I was stunned. It sounds like Boost has terrible security for it’s customers. They refused any type of refund and even refused to take the phone back for no money refunded.
The store employee claimed he was not a boost employee. That he just sells the boost product and he told us if we were concerned about fraud we should call the police and the FBI. He also told us to call 611 Boost customer service which we did when we left. Customer service stated that it was considered fraud and most likely it was done at the store when he bought the phone. The CS rep said he opened a ticket and we should go back to the store to get a refund. Which we did and you can guess what happened. They still refused so we did as instructed and called 611 customer service back but this time we were told that nothing can be done. We asked for a mgr which kept repeating legal policies over and over. The mgr said $ is only refunded for service fees if it was from another carrier and brought to boost. If it’s a new boost number even a new one that was compromised when we got it they will not refund $.
This isn’t a situation where he just doesn’t like the product. This is a case where the product and service provided exposed a vulnerable customer to identity theft and any number of scams. We did call the police which didn’t show up and wouldn’t take a report. My friend is already mistrustful of technology and it took a lot of convincing by multiple people to get a phone at all. This was a huge setback mentally for him as well as financially since he is unable to work due to his mental illness and lack of trust in technology which he would need to get a job. Now he has a phone he’s even scared to hold and has fears that his email and any important documents saved in there have been compromised. I’m uploading photos of the store that is supposedly not a boost store.

Early days in terms of Boost experience but super-frustrated this evening after innumerable contacts with invariably polite but clueless customer service reps via chat and phone today. I live in a rural area where none of the big carriers are satisfactory, and latched onto the concept of an eSIM that can switch between carriers for better signal. First few days seemed promising then today realized I can't call Canada. Customer service advised my new unlimited plan doesn't include cross-border controls so I tried to add North America Connectivity plan for another 10 bucks a month. That's where my frustrations accelerated, as support staff told me a) the North American Connectivity plan is only for when you're roaming (absolutely not how it is described) b) we show you're active you must not be using correct country code (BS I tried with and without pluses and 1's; c) must be your phone, resetting some things will take care of it (wrong again).
Last guy I talked to said I need new eSIM, The existing one doesn't support international calling. Discussed importance of not deleting existing one til he could get me a new one, had me hold while he would share one with me. But call dropped and he didn't call back. I went out to dinner and on the way home realized I have no cellular at all. Can't even use WiFi calls (says contact Boost!). Tried again to contact consumer support but after squandering time with robots got message that they'd be shutting down for the night and I can try in the morning.
