I bought an LG KC-550 cellphone on 29 November 2008, Indonesia time (GMT +7). After i used it (normally) for 2 days, suddenly the picture/graphic gone bad. There's so much scramble line on the LCD. So I complained about this defect and this Atlantic store promise me to solve in 3 workdays, and will inform me if this problem solved.

But unfortunately until this day, 5 Dec 2008, I haven't heard any good news from the store. I've tried to contact LG authorized service center to know about LG's policy. They (LG)said any damage/defect within guarantee/insurance time will be solved at least within 2 weeks. 2 weeks!! can u imagine? How can a new cellphone so troublesome and somehow LG after-sales-service disappoint me.

I cannot contact any of my friends/relatives/business partner because that cellphone is the only one that I've got

my wife purchased a lg 8500 cell phone it quit charging so she took it to where she purchased it from. they said the warranty was up in Sept. this was Nov. 3 2008. well it would cost 150.00 to repair. so I contacted LG to see if they would do anything. they only warranty for 1 year even though the phone cost near 400.00 I think this is poor service, is there anything a person can do about i.t Thanks for your time

My LG Chocolate cellphone #LG VX8500E purchased in 5/07 was dropped on the lawn(wet w/dew) this morning and began to smoke and burn..I had to stamp on phone to put out the fire and dip it in a bucket of water to cool it down. The battery is completely chard and had melted the outer edges round where the battery was located.

The phone is completely ruined and I am now w/o out a cell phone snd LG is questioning on whether or not to even replace it...which if they do may take quite some time. They want me to send them the phone for further evaluation; which is understandable, but I need another phone...one that is safe. My son has the same phone and I am concerned about it's safety. No one was injured.
