Sprint PCS and the other cell-phone companies bury consumers in a constant barrage of "best deals" and "money-saving" specials. Trying to keep track of these constantly-changing plans is like trying to count grains of sand in the desert during a windstorm. One tenacious soul who has done so is Humaira of Berkeley, who wrote to Sprint in January 2001 seeking a clarification. Last we heard, there'd been no reply. Other complaints ...

i've been having much trouble with my Instinct s30 the problem seems to be unfixable and it is very frustrating I've had 4 s30's in the past four months with same and or similar problems which know one seems to have a clue as how to fix my phone my voicemail does not work properly also I just recieved a new phone s30 11/9/2009 brand new and voice mail not working took back to store only to be told wait around 45mins. to 1hr.just for nothing phone still does not work. I personally feel I'm being mis-treated I'm a preferred customer of sprint. I feel they should handle my problem with the utmost urgency also due to the fact that I've been a loyal customer. I'm still stuck with a brand new s30 that does not work.I feel sprint at this point should give me another phone due to the inconvience they've caused me I want the HERO or PALM PRE no more s30's I feel that's compensation for the trips to the sprint store calls to customer service all that and then some. palm pre perferably right away!!!!!!

JEFF of MOORES HILL, IN November 10, 2009

I went to the store with my cell phone that will not charge after being there 45 min and with them looking at my phone to only hear what I already knew then was told that if I push the charger into my phone and hold it that it will charge and I will have a replacement at the store in a few days.

I use this phone daily for my work and I pay the extra for insurance. Also have been with Sprint many years and to be treated as if oh well we will fix it in a few days, not a very good costumer service fix. I had same issue few years ago with another phone and it was dealt with with a new battery and new phone shipped to my door the next morning. Now I get a few days and we will e-mail you wnet i arrives, I am seirously thinking of another cell phone carrier. Thanks for listening.

I gave up a cell phone number over 6 mos ago and Sprint has reassigned the number but did not clear my name off of the caller ID. When I called customer service I was told that there was nothing that they can do, that the new person has to inititate a call to them them to clear my name off, or that I COULD CALL THEM!!!! I am concerned about identity theft. I also mentioned that I had previously shared the Sprint account with a family member and it had taken only one call to get my name ON the caller ID instead of his on the same account. I surprised that Sprint can pass on my name to ANYONE by caller ID in error. Are there any legal ramififcations if the new user makes use of my name or identity? At the end of the call the customer service person, who was nice but could not help me, said there was something irregular with the number that she was checking up on. If there is class action takend against cell phone companies that do not clear names off of accounts and there is related theft of personal information- I want to be notified.

HYUN of BELLFLOWER, CA November 5, 2009

I've had Sprint wireless service since Feb of 2003. As I swiched my wireless carrier to Verizon on Oct. 22-2009, Sprint has charged another month of service charge of 128.10 agign. Prior to change the carrier, I've spoke to costomer services for several times to make sure I would not be charged with another month. It seems like Spring had misled me so they could charge me for another monthly fee. Thi si sunfair to me especially they knew what was my intention. Consequently, I paid 128.10 for unnessisary charge which I wish to get a refund. Thanks

Lorey of Ontario, CA November 4, 2009

I was informed that even though I canceled my service on Novemeber 2nd and the phone would be turned off I would still have to pay for service until the 20th of November. 70.00

class action against Sprint

kendra of carlsbad, CA October 31, 2009

sprint has blatantly not complied with a subpoena issued by carlsbad police department. in august 2009 i tried accesssing my sprint account online. i could not & received a message from sprint stating that my account was being accessed by another sprint user. i called sprint...ended up in the fraud dept who told me they would not talk tome. they only talk to law enforcement or attorneys. (i believe my ex-husband was doing this illegally) anyhow, my family law attorney sent sprint afax sequestering the info for 90days. carlsbad pd also subpoenad the info. we just want to know which sprint "customer"was accessing my phone records online. sprint told carlsbad pd that they no longer had this info.

Adam of Las Vegas, NV October 31, 2009

I bought a Samsung Rant from Sprint, about 3 weeks after I got it, it started to malfunction, software crashes, the camera doesn't work properly and consistently. I've written their corporate, "We're sorry, we can't do anything" was the gist of that. I've taken it to a repair store, was given another Rant, reconditioned of course, and it began to malfunction the second day. No matter who I talk to it seems in one way or another all they will do is give me another reconditioned Rant,

I've read blogs and ratings all over the net and many others are having the same problem as me and many are getting the same run around from Sprint, exchange, Rant for Rant and they still have the same problem. And they refuse to replace it with a comparable model that works right. It's terrible. Sprint is horrible, I can't wait till my contract is up! I'm stuck with a 100 phone that I can't use to it's fullest and it aggravates me.

Art of Grand blkanc, MI October 29, 2009

I have been a Sprint/Nextel customer for 8+ years. I also have a connection card on an unlimited plan. On staurday Sept 24th 2009, my card failed. I was in Chicago on business. I went to a "Sprint" store. An they geave me a new card for 50.00 and said I had to sign a new agreement. What they didnt tell me was that my new agreement also put me on an limited 5GB plan. I called and after several hours on the phone, they dropped the 2 year committment from my contract, but said they could not give me the unlimited plan, as it was no longer available. Since my new contract was voided in 30 days, my old contract still legally remains in effect. They told me if I go over 5GB wil be charged .02 per kilobyte.

Suzette of Metairie, LA October 28, 2009

Oct 28, 2009--No serive on my Sprint Cell phone. After trying my voice messages and after trying to make calls..no response from my phone. Then after several attempts, I was able to talk to customer support (Tech). Sprint said that there is a Tower problem in Louisiana and the news also said problems in Texas also. They are not sure when the problem will be resolved.
