Carlos of Lancaster CA (4/1/04):
I contacted them via e-mail twice with no response from the company. The last time, I told them that if I didn't get a response, I would file a complaint...so here I am. Damage Resulting: Had to kill the Blaster worm on my computer and the headache of dealing with a non-user-friendly, mediocre product. I guess you get what you pay for! Lohan of New York, NY writes (7/6/02):
I called and spoke with Geannie. After describing the situation to her, she informed me that she cannot provide me with support for she is the only person at the call center at the time. She then went on to describe to me that someone would have to give me a call at 7:00 am in the morning of 7/6/02. i told her that when I purchased the product, I got it because it came with 24/7 tech support. She said that there is nothing she can do and I would have to wait till the morning. I went further and informed here that by not providing me with support, the company was in fact in breach of contract. I told her that not providing me with support was simply unacceptable. She then hung up on me. We would say that Siemens may indeed have violated Truth In Advertising laws but it's not likely Lohan has suffered sufficient monetary damages to make legal action worthwhile. Report Your Experience
