Hydroderm

Allison of Frisco, TX April 1, 2009

I had to call 3 times to cancel my subscription and request a refund. This took about a 3 month span. I never recieved my refund as I was told I would. When I called for the 4th time to find out why it was taking so long the number was no longer in service because they were out of business. I still have not received my refund which is approx 200.00

I am still owed 200.00. I have cancelled my membership and I have already returned my products back to them unopened!

John of Poughquag, NY March 20, 2009

Hydroderm took 84.00 out of my checking account. When called they said I ordered. DID NOT ORDER OR RECEIVE!!! they claim I did receive this item. Need help retrieving my 84.00. I am a 79 year old man with Alzheimers Disease, why would I need this product or order it. Please someone help me as I am living on a VERY fixed income and need refund back into my checking account. Would appreciate being included in bankruptcy action against Hydroderm. Can be reached at above e-mail address. Thank you.

Living on fixed income and need every cent I receive from social security which the above amount came from.

I though I would write and provide some information for the customers who were ripped off by Hydroderm. I had an automatic monthly order set up with them. I loved the product and had no problems at all for over 2 years, then last Oct. I suddenly stopped receiving my monthly order. They didn't charge my card anymore, and they just stopped sending the product. Their phone was disconnected.

Well, today (Feb. 20, 2009), out of the blue, I received a bottle of Hydroderm in a package printed with HYDRODERM IS BACK (and Better Than Ever). There was an invoice with the bottle for 0.00, but no note of explanation. I called the number on the package, 877 312 3648, but they were closed for the day. You folks who are having problems could try calling the New and Improved group and see if they can help you out. I plan to call them next week (they are open 9 to 5 EST)to find out if my auto-order is going to resume and if the price is the same (I only paid 25 a bottle since I had the monthly auto order set up). Also, the original Hydroderm web site is still out there, but still not working correctly (you can't order anything). Maybe they will get it up and running again. I hope they can get back on track and make their customers happy again - they have a good product. Good luck!

They had the nerve to charge my account again after I cancelled it three times. I notified my bank of the unauthorized payment to them. they owe me over 171 dollars already!

I have a product that I don't want and they keep shipping it to me.. It is taking up m y valuable time

I rec. a 30 trial of Hydroderm. As soon as I got it and found out it would be 85.00 plus to keep getting it. I tried to return the unopened bottle. I called and tried to get an rmr (?) number and was told repeatedly that their computers were out and to keep calling back. Finally I told them I wanted to send back the unused product before my time allowed was up and was told I could us my inventory number and put it in the outside on on the outside of the box I mailed it in. I did so. In the mean time they had taken out 85.00 from my account and said they would credit it back in 10 days after they received the product. Well, they have never returned it.

I kept calling and got no where, asked to speak to an supervisor and they hung up on me. I began to write letters to the address in Culver City CA. There have been ten to date mailed, and the last two I got back saying address unknown. I will never be so stupid as to fall for anything like this again. I realize they are a bunch of crooks and never did intent to return my money. Now I wish I would have at least opened the product so it would have been ruined for them to re-sell. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HYDRODERM, THEY ARE A SCAM AND YOU WON'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

I am a widow and I don't buy a lot of things for myself, I was crazy to do this and I won't again. I have been laid off from my job and I cannot afford to loose 85.00. But looks like I have done just that. I have hopes to get it back somewhy. This company should not be allowed to operate.

Received trial shipment of Hydroderm June 2008-bank card was debited for s & h only. Another shipment Hydroderm came-was a different product in a similiar bottle but more watery than trial shipment. Bank debited 89.95 from my account in August 2008. October 2008 did NOT receive Hydroderm shipment but 92.65 was debited from my account to Hyrdoderm. I waited 2 weeks. Tried to access help from Hydoderm's website-could not log in with my membership #.

On October 24, 2008 I phoned the # Hydroderm gave me with me trial membership info. and after 19 minutes being on hold a rep. named Stephanie answered. I told her I was calling to cancel my membership. She rudely asked me why. I gave her 4 reasons 1. product didn't work 2. website terrible and unhelpful 3. Hydroderm debited money from my account 10/14/08 and had not sent any product and 4. Their customer service was sub-par. Stephanie put me on hold again for 11 minutes. Came back and told me my membership had been cancelled and I could expect full refund of 92.65 they debited from my account. When I asked Stephanie why they debited 92.65 from my account when I never received product she said their warehouse computer crashed so the shipments were not sent out. (!!!!!???)

Not only have I not receieved the 92.65 back into my account, last night 2/12/09 I notcied a company named Hydro labs from Los Angeles had debited 89.95 from my account. I have not receieved any products from Hydroderm or Hydrolab since August 2008. I have written 2 letters to Hydroderm (address given above) asking for my money.

I, like the other ladies on this complaint forum, have been scammed by Hydroderm. I was called in Dec 2008 by a rep from my bank about a charge from Hydroderm on my account. He said the charge had some details about it that flagged the entry. I told him I had ordered the product and that is was okay. But the product did not arrive. after 2 weeks, I phoned the 888 number that was listed on my bank statement. It was Allied Wallet credit card processing and they informed me that they had received alot of complaints about this company & they followed up with an email that it was their understanding that Hydroderm had filed bankruptcy. Allied Wallet reversed my charge for the full amount within 2 business days after my call to them. All seemed good.

Then today, 2-2-09, I rec'd an email from the NEW Hydroderm Customer Service Team, saying they were back in business, processing my order and would be charging my Visa Card. There was an email listed for any questions inquiry.hydroderm@gmail.com I replied to this email and related my distrust in them. I have not rec'd a reply.

I phoned Allied Wallet again and they stated they were NOT processing any orders that might come to them by Hydroderm and that they had launched their own investigation into the matter, they recommended I alert my bank, which I have done. So far, no new charge from Hydroderm has come thru to my bank, but my account is being monitored for that charge and action will be taken at that time. I guess, No crime, no remedy, at this point!

The consequences can be devasting if Hydroderm or any other company is allowed to keep 'yo-yoing' back and forth into business, charging credit cards and but not receiving products. No working contact number and no way to reverse my orders with them, because you can't reach them. This is definitely consumer fraud. I would join in with others who are being defrauded by Hydroderm to stop this.

I also ordered hydroderm and recieved my free tril very quickly. They were also prompt on sending the next 2 shipments. After that my account was charged 69.00 and I still hadn't recieved my cream 2 months later. Fortunately they did transfer the 69.00 back into my account but they still charged for shipping and handling. They did not ship nor handle anything. I want to cancel my account and get my shipping and handling back but no number works. ARE THEY OUT OF BUSINESS!?

Penny of Springfield, OR December 16, 2008

Like so many others, I have been scammed by Hydroderm and am frustrated and angry beyond words! The money that they still owe me and have not refunded as PROMISED, by each customer service representative that I have spoken to over the past nearly 4 months now, have ALL been a blatant lie!

The order date of my free trial began on 8/28/08. The trial end date was 9/28/08. Naturally, again, like so many others have stated, the products did not in anyway live up to their claims. Therefore, I called on 9/26/08 to acquire an RMA# in order to return their products and not be charged, again as their ad states, as long as you call and request the RMA before the trial date end. On that call I was told that their systems were down so they were unable to supply me with a RMA and instructed me to call back on 9/30 at which time they would be able to do so.

I then voiced my concern that although I was making the initial call before the trial end date, that by having to wait till the 30th, the time alloted would have passed and that because their systems issue was their problem, I insisted that they promise me that I would not be charged and they did confirm that I would not be. My 2nd call was placed on 9/30 in which they did issue me an RMA# and again assured me that my credit card would not be billed, due to the problem being their's.

Well, it goes without saying, once again they did not keep to their promise and my credit card was charged for the full amount of 69.00. On 10/04/2008, having lost any trust in their customer service department phone number, my next attempt was to write them at their customer support email address, explaining the issue and my frustration of being billed when promised on 2 different occasions, that I would not be charged. Of course, they never responded to my email. And I waited and waited for the refund to appear on my bank statement.

By 10/20 I felt I had waited long enough and given them ample time to issue the refund, which is when I made my 3rd call and spoke to a rep who went by the name of Fernando at ext.8042. He apologized for the long delay due to their problems with their systems and again I was promised that I would be issued my refund on the following Friday, 10/24. Waited and waited and waited, still no refund. Made my 4th call on 11/03, spoke with a rep named Stephanie @ ext.8044 (I always asked their name and ext#) who told me that their systems were still down and that all refunds owed were now being sent to the Corporate Office where they were now being handled and distributed and said I would receive my refund the week of 11/10,at the latest. Waited and waited way beyond that week and of course, no refund. It goes without saying that by 12/05 I was fed up with their lies and virtual snowballing of me....and so I made my 5th call on 12/05, spoke with a rep named Carla, told her how angry and sick of unkept promises I was. She asked me to stay on the line while she personally walked the refund order directly to the billing department.

When she came back on the line she told me that the billing department directly told her that my refund would be issued within 72 business hours. Well, today is the 16th of December and despite her promise, still no refund!!! Today, stupid as I am, I attempted to call them again. My first call went to 800 814-5771, in which a recording stated that the number had been disconnected. I then called a 2nd # 800 840-4043...same recorded voice saying that the number had been disconnected. Called a 3rd# 800 840-6986, same recording that the number had been disconnected and I am furious!

What I do not and cannot understand is how a company as large as Hydroderm is getting away with this??? Isn't there some law firm out there who has taken this on by now and offering assistance to all that have been ripped off and lied to time after time after time? And why given the thousands of complaints filed against Hydroderm, have they not been SHUT DOWN???? What action can we the people now take against Hydroderm? I can assure you that I haven't a clue what step to take next. Am I simply to eat the loss and give up? Surely this must fit into some legal clause of being highly illegal???

If anyone out there can share what action they have taken and if they were successful, I would appreciate it more than I can say. I will check back back to this website often to see if anyone has answered my plea for help.

Grace of New York, NY December 12, 2008

I ordered online the free trial of the hydroderm product. I was suppose to be charged only the 5.00 fee for shipping and handling. Well it turned out they debited the account for 84.00 dollars. First of all they attempted to deliver the product to me but I had an family ergency that I couldnt pick up the product from the post office and so it was returned to the company. I never had the product in my hand and yet they debited my account 84.00.

I called an 800 number                1-800-814-5771        , and spoke to someone by the name Nicole on back in November 19, 2008. She told me that she would put a trace on the returned product that she would give me a call back. I never got a call back. I went to my bank and had the bank stop any debited from entering into my account. I tried numerous times to contact someone to reimburse me the money and I never got in touch with anyone. I tried again, on December 11, 2008 and the operator said that the number was disconnected how can I get my money back? This is simply insane.

This has been very frustrating. Because of this debit on my account it affected other payments that I have made by check and the overdrafts. This company has to be investigated.
