Renee of Anaheim CA (5/28/03):
I recently bought Revlon Colorstay liquid lip "cranberry mist #36" I loved the color. After a few days of wearing it I noticed my heals were very pink and while shaving my legs there was a lilac color water that dripped in the bottom of the tub. A day or so later I noticed the inside of my white socks had a deep burgundy color around my heels and the ball of my foot. I was confused so I started eliminating new thnigs one by one and came to realize after 2 days of not wearing any lipstick my heels were normal and my socks were no longer colored. The coloring in the socks did not wash out of the socks either, they were stained permanently.

My conclusion is that lip color was somehow being excreted through my legs and feet. I found this hard to believe but that's the facts of what happened. I'm writing to alert you of these facts and ask you test the product and the type of dyes used in this product.

Damage Resulting: No serious consequences except being afraid of what was happening to me.
