Hot air styler

Delores of Hampton VA (6/25/03):
I purchased a Revlon ThermalAire Hot Air Styler. The first day I used the styler, it stopped running when I was only half done curling my hair (my hair type is straight, not even shoulder length and not thick) and did not turn back on until hours later. I was disappointed with the quality of the styler as well. It continued to make creaking noises as I curled my hair as if the brush part was going to snap off.

Also because the brush bristles doesn't extend all the way down, there is a band of metal before it reaches the wand. That metal is extremely hot and I burnt my face several times while continuing to style my hair. At first I passed off all these problems as being a new brand and I needed to get use to it. I used the styler again and not only experienced the same problems as mentioned above but the brush fell off the wand and burnt my wrist causing a welt burn. I feel this styler is a serious safety hazard to consumers.
