Account closed by the company, our bill was paid every month on time, some months more than the minimum was paid. They jacked up my interest rate to over 25% and still being charged account maintainence fees????Look at most recent statement and they transferred my account without my knowledge or consent but stated under that important news portion of my statement that if we wanted to opt out of this transfer to write and address in GA, I was charged 24.66 for this unathorized transfer as well. There are many complaints about this company surely something can be done.I have no problem paying for the chargeds I accrued but not all these other BS charges. My balance should be going down not up on this closed account!!!!

Uncooperative Customer Service Representative who seem to function by a script. When you make inquiries they respond robotic to the point of either hanging up on you then you got to call back. In addition, some representatives will give name/employee number while some (Nicole)will say she is not allowed to give employee number out. My complaint is managemet made the decision I am told to close my account.

I have been asking for a letter indicatig the date/reason for the increase in my interst rate which is now 23.47%. I have gotten no where speaking to robotic representatives: Michelle, Nicole, Neyla and John who are foreign speaking. I am told that my interest rate has been this percentage since the year 2001 which not true. As a consumer I have a right to know why and when. I am told that they cannot send a letter or tell me the reason for the interest rate change.

My account is closed ans I contunue to pay a finance charge plus I pay over the minimum. Again I would like written information on my beginning interest rate at 2001 and when and why it is now 23.47%. Aspire is uncooperative with me evert time. Your call will e transferred from representative to representative and getting no where but repeating yourself over and over again and/or your call is ending without your consent. HELP! My stress level goes up with speaking to Aspire.

I always paid my bill on time and never had a problem with them. but when my balance got within the range of the late fee, they pigeon holed my payment until it was past due so they could collect the over limit and late fee. this is a scam and they should be sued. caused my credit score to crash and I can't refinance my auto loan

I have had an account with this credit card company for 4 years, I have always paid my payments on time. Recently they closed my account without reason just stating that all accounts were being closed. I assumed it was due to the economy. I called and asked why I was still being charged an account maintnance fee, if there is no account to maintain. The man I spoke with had no answer. I am very upset as I continue to pay my payments and try to pay off my debt they are still profiting 6.50 per month in account maintnance fees and high interest. This should be looked into. Please help.

i have used aspire visa card for several years always paying on time and never over the credit limit.in dec,08, like thousands of other people i gota letter stating that they were closing my account because they were discontinuing my aspire visa program.they stated that it had nothing to do with me and that i was an excellent customer but all aspire visa cards were closed. everytime i called them they said the same thing-that it had nothing to do with me. since then i have been paying off my balance every month which includes a maintanance fee of over 6.00 besides finance fees.WHY SHOULD I PAY A MAINTANCE FEE EVERY MONTH NOW? i got my credit report and it says this card was closed by consumer (WHICH HURTS MY CREDIT SCORE) AND PAYMANTS NEVER LATE. i wrote to you a few months ago about this but got no response even though i subscribe to consumer affairs every week online. i have never seen anything in your reports about any action you could take about this. please let me know if i should still pay the maintenance fee and what can do about repairing my credit report so it doesn't show a negative report (closed by consumer).please help me 'what should i do? is there a class action suit? there are so many people in the same situation with this card.if you can't help me then who can?

In 2006 I was pre approved for a Visa Aspire Credit Card. I was told that I would recieve 300 credit limit. When I finally revieved the card, 150 had been taken in fees, leaving only a 150 balance. For the year of 2007 i made small purchase and charged 150 on the card. I kept up with payments and somehow lost track and was late for no more than a week or two. The fees acquired for being late set another set of fees for exceeding my balance. On top of that there were yearly and monthly fees for over 100 dollars. In the end I had 800 in fees and only 150 in charges. I paid the 800 off in 2008.
