I have Imagine Mastercard and have paid them diligently for almost two years they have closed my account recently due to my going over limit. they state numerous times although they admit i never missed a payment. What is credit if not to buy when there's no cash on hand and if one goes over limit as long as he pays minimum due on payment due date what is the problem. vI am presently researching trying to find a law that i know exist that would disallow these companies from giving persons 300 dollar credit cards with only 50 dollars available and once they spend it owe 300 and when they default who incurs debt?

Made payment on 10-08-08 had limit of 825 dollars balance of 769 could not access 55 dollars available to buy gas or food was stranded and hungry due to closing of my account although i made payment and had money available. No real damage other then mental anguish and embarrassment of people at supermarket hear me continuosly call to get what was my due. I also had no means to get ten miles to pick up something called a sim card that would have enabled me to use my cell phone to obtain money from other contacts.
