I was checking my online banking with my Wachovia account and noticed that I had a negative 363.00 and a charge for 149.99 for New  Millennium bank. I NEVER AUTHORIZED IT! I called them and they were rude and said they would cancel my year membership but that the 149.99 processing fee was nonrefundable. I was outraged. This unauthorized fraudulent charge had caused 3 utility bills to bounce and also incurred 3 individual 35.00 NSF charges. I called Wachovia and immediately was refunded the 149.99, filled an affidavit out and had to get a new Visa check card and checking because they were linked. I'm shocked that any protection affairs wouldn't close them down yet.

Damages of 149.99 unauthorized purchase- 363 in bounced checks. 35 times 3 for NSF funds. Lost payment arrangements and also winter plans for payment reductions because of bounced check. Shut them down. They cost me over 550 bucks and all I got back was the 149.99. This is appalling.

On 1-17-08, I was looking at my online banking account when I noticed that 99.92 was taken from my checking account. I noticed that on my statement said NMB credit card application fee for 99.92. This amount caused my checking account to go negative. I went to google and typed in NMB and New Millinium Bank came up. I talked to a lady and she said that she was sorry and she could help me cancel my application that they fabricated some how but not by me. She said that I would have to write a letter signed by me stating that I want my money back and I wanted to cancel the application. She told me to fax her the letter and she would personally hand carry it to the next stage. I went to my bank and told them about my story and said to go ahead and send them the fax. So the bank typed up a letter and faxed it. They said that it would take 5 to 6 buisness day to get my money. I needed the money now as I had some checks that needed to be covered now. I asked my wife ever so nicely if she had the money to cover this. My wife said yes and I covered at least 100.00 in bills that would end up bouncing.

I don't know how they got my bank statement and this concerns me the most because they can take out any amount money out of my account at any time. I went to my bank and told them about the scam, and they told me that I should send them a letter saying that I no longer wanted their service and I requested that I wanted to be full reimbursed for 99.92. So I sent it and I have 5 to 7 buisness day to get my money back? The Lady at the bank said that she will keep a sharp eye on my account, looking for any more money being taken out. If so, I will have to change my bank account #. I dont know how they got my bank checking # without my permission.

I am stressed about when is the next time I am going to be robbed. I cannot afford to lose money. I know I will never fill out another application online about anything because someone is watching you and ready to steal from you. I will never trust online gredit card gimmics. Now I have to change my checking account so I can keep these guys away from my money.

New Millennium Bank took 99.95 out of my mothers account; now I can't get them to put the money back in her account. She did not authorize this transaction. Now I am in trouble with her and the bank. Please advise on what to do.

The money that was taken out of her account created an overdraft resulting in 99.95 plus 30.00 overdraft fee. That is not right. I need help.

I was online looking at the credit card and was reading the fees part of the application. My husband and I decided that right now it was to much for the processing fees and annual fee for the amount of credit that it was going to allow us to have. We opted out of the online application and it charged our checking account anyway. We did not receive the card and someone from the credit card company called us to let us know that we would be receiving our card if we were still interested. We advised the caller that we were not interested but the processing fee was still taken out of our account and we were told that it would be about a week before the refund and it has been now almost a month. We would like our processing fee of 99.00 returned back to our account immediately.

This has caused a considerable amount of anxiety because not only that we had opted out of the online application before we agreed to anything but that a company would take what does not belong to them after the person decides to opt out and then call to see if the credit card is still wanted and have someone lie on the phone about how long it would be before the refund could be processed. I work in that situation about having credit cards processed and I know how long it takes but I also know when I have been stung by a company that only wants that processing money to make the interest off of it for as long as they can. You have made enough interest off my 99.00 and I would like it back because my family needs it more now than you do. You have caused enough considerable harm financially to my family as it is.

For a month I have been receiving automated calls from New Millennium Bank's Platinum Benefits Division. They call me via computer or automated system, then ask me to wait so a representative can speak with me. I waited and spoke with someone who offered me a secured credit card. Problem is I have been on the US Government's Do Not Call List for several years. I thought a do not call list was just that. These corporations need to be reigned in and fined for using illegal business practices!

A waste of my valuable time!
