Providian Refund Payments |
||||||
|
I received an application in the mail in reference to applying for a Visa card with Providian. Currently, I have a MasterCard with providian. I decided to apply for the Visa card also, but I was informed nicely that I currently had the Master Card and procedure is that they only allow you to have one card with them. I was also informed within the letter that I would receive a refund check in the amount of what I paid for the application process. The letter stated that 10 days after receiving the letter, I would receive my refund check. I received the letter on December 10, 1999, and it is now January 21, 2000. Where is my check? And yes, my check has cleared through my bank. What is the holdup? When I make my payments they want them on time. If I'm late I'm charged a penalty. There should be a way that they will be charge a penalty for holding your refund for an unlimited amount of time. This is highly upsetting. I'm a single parent and that money is needed in my home. I'm not on government assistance and things can be tight when you have a budget. If you tell me that I will receive my money in 10 days, I make plans with that money. Basically, bills or whatever. This put me in a tight situation. Report Your Experience
