Rose of Harrisburg, OR March 2, 2010 I got a trial period for 3 months. They switch my porfile to auto renew. I got my back to charge it back to them. Then went into my profile to acctount setting, bill info, and removed my cc info. Have not had any issue since then. Carol of Roanoke, VA February 27, 2010 I have tried over a year to get my subscription cancelled. No luck. I signed up for 1 year, and they have automatically renewed and taken the 15.00 out of my credit card account for over one year. I need this stopped. It has cost me over 200. It has cost me over 200 because they keep renewing my account. I wanted to cancel after the first 3 months. I was told that was what the 15.00 charge per month would be for 3 months Donna of Cincinnati, OH February 26, 2010 I paid for membership with classmates.com in July 2008. For a great deal of that time my computer did not work. However in August of 2009 classmates automatic withdraw 39.00 from my account for continued membership for another year. Currently they are not honoring my membership and cannot find the original date of membership nor the renewal fee that was take out last year in August. Currently I am working on a HS reunion and need to access my account. I refuse to pay another fee becasue the are not keep up with their customers nor providing custormer care. Elaine of Chesapeake, VA February 24, 2010 Charged for services I have not used in two years and do not intend to use. I signed up for one year about three years ago. I should have complained when money was taken from my account about 10 months ago. But this time my bank is filing the complaint for me and I have issued a stop on any charges that appear from this company on my account. Charges costing me sufficient means of getting my medicines which I pay for when they are shipped. Elaine of Shepherdstown, WV February 23, 2010 We cancelled a subscription to classmates.com a year ago. About 6 weeks ago a charge for 39 appeared on our credit card. We called and told them again to cancel and remove the charge. We were told it would be credited to our account. Six weeks + later there is no credit. We called classmates.com again and were told the charge was not refundable unless we called in advance of the charge being placed on our account. We have disputed the charge with our credit card issuer and asked that classmates.com not be allowed to place further charges on that card. Sheila of Sudbury, ON February 22, 2010 Hi, Same renewal problems as the rest of you. I called to get a refund (female),no refund,auto-renewal,switch to manual renewal blah blah blah. I called my CC Company they are sending me a dispute form. But I thought about for a while, read some of your messages and called classmates.com back to try to get my renewal rate reduced to 9.95 and I got a great CSR guy who I had a great experience with and he reduced my rate using the 'good faith' clause. I had nothing to lose an I sucked up the 9.95(my error,my fault 'buyer beware') Hope this helps others save some money!!! Claudia of Brooklyn, NY February 20, 2010 Website charged my credit card 39.00 for automatic renewal of my "gold" membership, which I didn't authorize. They will not refund the amount charged because I didn't cancel my membership. I didn't receive a "reminder notice" from them as to the renewal charge, which I would have cancelled, it I had the opportunity. The 39.00 was charged against my credit card and it is not refundable per classmates.com policy. ursula of huntington, IN February 20, 2010 I just found out about this charge from classmates.com from a rep. from my chg. card co. Then I get on the website to learn that others are trying to get thru to them to cancel something they did not chg. to their cards. So I thought I might as well put my complaint in now! John of Viera, FL February 20, 2010 I have deleted my email address from them. They continue to send emails to my address. I have filed a complaint with the FTC about them and their parent company United. They allow smut on their website. Cliff of Austin, TX February 19, 2010 I have to delete popup adds on my personal website with Classmates.com of Sprint popup adds. this is stupid Report Your Experience
