Timothy of Richmond, KY January 4, 2009

Timothy of Richmond KY (01/04/09)
I have never signed up as a member of Facebbook but my name shows up with a bunch of strangers esp. women purported to be my friends. Not only is this embabarrassing to me but it has caused me to w3aste valuable time trying to figure out who is impersonating me on Facebbook. I am demanding Facebook to take responsibilty for the damage to my reputation through their money-making outfit they cannot control. At the very least, they MUSt take my name off their list.

I have been ruidiculed bt friends and family members have expressed concern that I spend time befriending women on Facebook. My marriage is srained as I cannot convince my wife this insinuation on Facebbook about me and female friends is fake!

My facebook account was also disabled by the administrator. I have sent 10 e-mails and 1 fax to check my account by a physical person so that everybody can see that there is nothing wrong on my page. But until now, I have received no information from facebook. I was using facebook since february 2007. Now I have a new fake page and I am starting to write to facebook employees to explain them my problem! But it seemed their strategy is to answer NOBODY!

I have lost all my pics and contact details from my ex-workmates from great britain. I have created a very nice page during the last 2 years. Its a shame to loose all this information. What I dont like is to loose my account, because a machine was kicking me out the system - not a real person. Without any good reason!

Patrick of Mineola, NY December 20, 2008

Patrick of Mineola NY (12/20/08)
My story seems similar to others I have read here. I have been on for over 2 years on facebook. Have absolutely NO offensive pictures or comments of any kind. NEVER contact anyone outside of my sphere of friends, which is modest. About 80 people listed. Never send or say anything offensive in any capacity. However this past week- I went to sign on- and was informed I have been deleted from facebook. I click on FAQ's and is states I could be removed for repeated violations or 1 agregious offense. I HAVE DONE NOTHING! I have emailed 6 times- not a single reply. If someone or something occurred within my account- I should have knowledge of it from facebook, and a chance to find out what might have occurred.

Of my list of friends- a good many of them are from my years of networking. Some are newer. Most are possible business contacts or base of referral for my business. Many I have no other access to contacting as I never backed them up outside of facebook. I am losing relationships I have cultivated on a business networking level, and with that I am losing sales.

basically, i have no access to any functions on facebook aside from the comment space at the top of my profile page. allowing for the fact that it's extremely infuriating to no longer have access to the apps and other things i used on the site, it's impossible to even end my account! no warnings, no notice of any kind...

truthfully, the fact is that i've WASTED alot of time on facebook. now, i have an account with an internet entity that i can't rid myself of , much less complain to. if anyone can provide info on how to delete an account that's gone to the crapper, please let me know! ( seriously, what's the point of being on a site if you can't DO ANYTHING on it!? )

I was disabled for thanking the people who sent me invites. I was not even inviting anyone. And no one at Facebook will respond.
