Facebook Is A Disgrace: My account was disabled by facebook for apparantly having a fake account. How on earth can they justify this if all the information on the site was true data and every friend requested or accepted me. So who is fake here? I also see they like to mention about people using real names and real personal information...YET THIS IS SUCH A STRICT TERM OF CONDITION SO [IT SEEMS] FACEBOOK CAN SELL OFF YOUR DETAILS TO THIRD PARTY COMPANIES!

Facebook allowed private information to be obtained by myluvcrush.com about my 13 year old daughter. They, with the knowledge and complicity of the phone carrier (TELUS mobility) send unsolicited and illict e-mail to my daughter( who is only 13) daily, for the last month

50 overcharge on the phone bill , plus worry about the lack of safety from predators who can clearly and easily troll Facebook and target innocents at will. What is next, pedophiles?

Xen of London, OTHER May 7, 2008

Xen of London OTHER (05/07/08)
I have been a user of Facebook for over a year. In this time, i have my profile disabled numerous times for the following reasons. -Spamming (replying to too many of my friends messages and sending messages to my groups. I mean, if these people don't want to get my group messages, then why join my group?) -Harrassment (they won't go into detail but i'm pretty certain that they disabled me on the say so of a woman who used her account (who has since been disabled for being a fake!) to have me disabled. I can assure you, i have harrassed NO ONE) When i started a new profile on Facebook, the first message i got was from [her] goading me. I blocked her that very instant and avoided all contact with her. After was disabled she continued to harrass me with her real account by following me around and commenting on various groups, videos, postings or photos that i was connected with, just so that i would receive a notification from Facebook. I reported her harrassing me to Facebook but she is still lording it up on there... -Fake Name (Apparently my name is a fake and even though i've provided them with a scan of my passport this is not good enough...

Today, i lost my profile again. The message i recieved was as follows: Hi, Fake names are a violation of our Terms of Use. Facebook requires users to provide their full first and last names (i.e. no initials). The question is why ME? Why are they doing this to me simply because i have an unusual name? I have just written back to Facebook to ask them why they continue to antagonise and discriminate against me because my name is unusual. No doubt they will ignore me all together or send me the usual standard robotic response... I don't mean to sound like a drama queen, but as much fun as Facebook is, sometimes i really do question if it is worth it. I can appreciate that they will never keep all their users happy but i feel as if i am purposely antagonised by the Facebook User Operations team, in particular BELLA and it has affected me physically in a number of ways

The main effect is probably stress. Suddenly being cut off by all my friends, family and colleagues for days on end. Having my connections fried! My photos, groups, events, messages, notes and gifts all vanish forever. It's quite distressing. I'd even go as far as to say that they've made me feel depressed at times. There are numerous groups on Facebook petitioning for not only MY return but the return of other people who have been unfairly disabled without a proper explanation. Not to mention those petitioning once and for all for Facebook to stop disabling EVERYONE for stupid reasons.

Just to be clear... for me, this is not about money. This is about me being treated differently to other users of Facebook. This is about me being affected by the persistently antagonistic working practice of the Facebook User Operations Team. If i could write to Mark Zuckerberg (CEO) i would've done it already, but he's a tough guy to get hold of....

Nicola of Salsburgh OTHER (04/15/08)
I am siick of going into an application and the message reads one of your friends have ..... and when you click on it, its an advertisment for something. This is false advertising and an absolute nuisance to me and fellow users. This is not acceptable. I click on these things hoping I have a message from a friend but all I get is a company trying to sell me things. If this does not stop I will cancel my account with facebook.

The physical damage is the mental damage to myself as this site is my only way of comunicating with friends and if i get a false message saying one of your friends sent this or invited you to a specific page you will click on it. its not fair
