Nadim Law Firm

Celeste of Port Hueneme, CA September 24, 2009

Where do I start with this company, first they started out as Debit Barter,Than some how they changed their name to "The Nadim law firm" they said that if we pay them 3000 they could negotiate to resolve all back payments and fees with a 30 year fixed rate mortgage at 5%!! all within 2 months, they said they "specialize" in working with our lender, we paid them 1500 to start and than they faxed us some papers to fill out which were the "same" papers that we orginally filled out with our mortgage co back in Nov 08, we started with Debit barter back in Dec 08, all we were doing is faxing papers back and forth and Debit barter did nothing for us than a few months later they called and were very rude and demanded we pay the other 1500 or they would turn us over to collections even though they orginally said we didn't have to pay until they got us our loan modification, so we had to pay them the other 1500 and than everything stopped after that!

We left many messages with David, Heather, Jason, Roger you name it we called and emailed at the same time we NEVER got any response's from any of them once they got our money! I also found out they were not sending the paper work to our mortgage company at all! I spent Month after month fighting with our mortgage company trying to stay out of foreclosure, I had to borrow tons of money from my 401K just to keep from losing my house because debit barter/Nadim law firm kept promising that they were working with our mortgage company and not to make any payments to our mortgage company so we took their advice thinking they were a so called "law firm" trying to help people save their homes just to find out they are a FRAUD COMPANY!!

I have still yet to save my house, I am fighting everyday with my mortgage company begging them, in fact I owe the IRS 13,000 due to taking out loans from my 401K to save my house thanks to Debit barter/Nadim law firm! because they kept telling us NOT to pay our mortgage! they are crooks! STAY AWAY FROM THEM! In fact during the entire process all of a sudden they went from Debit Barter to "The Nadim Law Firm" Same city "Irvine, Ca" just a different address??

Praveen of Pittsburg, CA July 21, 2009

I paid David Lapietro 2400.00 for a loan modification. He set up an appointment with me to call my lender (Homeq) with me with me on the other line and found out it was too late save my house. during this time i received a letter for cash for keys. I faxed him the letter and a few days latter he told me i have 40 to 45 days and he is working on getting me some cash for keys and in less than two weeks i received a seven day eviction notice from the Sheriff's department. I called David and he mentioned another name EDWARD who is taking care of this matter. After that i went to the court filled a petition to stay which cost me 200.00 and 800.00 for a 15 days stay. I kept calling David leaving him messages but he never returned my phone call. I moved out of the house right away and still trying to reach David but neither David or Edward has called me back.
