I ordered a package from JC Penny, they shipped it out the next day (8/10/2009) via Fed Ex. There was construction at one end of my road, however my road is a thru road so it comes out on another route at the other end. Anyone with a delivery service should have 1. a GPS or 2. a Map or mapping program. They called me on 8/13 telling me they "tried" to deliver but my road is closed and noted on the package tracking that my address was incorrect. Not true. I gave the driver directions to access my street from the other end. Again, is this not 2009. I know they, at the minimum have a mapping program at their pick up point.

The following day I heard my dog outside barking. I went outside and saw a "Penske" rental van in my driveway with a guy with a Fed Ed uniform on in it close his door. I called my dog in, asked the guy if everything was o.k. and he just drove off. On the package tracking it noted homeowner not home or available. What a crock. Now I have to wait 3 more days for them to deliver. What weak attempts to deliver. Why would he do that? Never a problem with UPS!

I had a package arriving from US to Egypt, it arrived in Egypt after 3 days which is good but i had to wait 2 extra days before seeing status changing to Clearence delay. I was just waiting after until i decided to search for Fedex number in Egypt which is wrong on Fedex website, it seems that they don't update their page and i received a notice by mail that my package was held at the customs, i checked number to call them to understand why they are sending me such notice, is there something required from me? the phone number on the notice is also wrong!

Well, I finally managed to get a number for Fedex Egypt after 3 days of waiting, when i called, i was told that it is held on customs so i asked if anything is required from me, the answer was "no", i told the guy so why i received a notice? he asked me to hold then came back advising that i should make a delegation for Fedex to clear the package (why no one told me that before!) so i did and fax it to them, the next day i received a second warning notice from Fedex that my package will return to sender or destroyed!!!, i contacted Fedex number again and explained the whole story again and that i provided a delegation yesterday (it seems that they don't keep record of customers calling or able to track anything) he advised that this second notice is for telling me that it is held in the customs.

The next day, i received another papers from Fedex which is a copy of the request done by Fedex for the customs and Customs feedback, i can tell you that i have spent almost 3hours trying to understand what those papers were about and what should i do with them, as usual, i contacted Fedex and as usual, they told me that it is pending clearence from customs, so i have to repeat the whole story with my contacts with Fedex, after she told me that if something is needed from me, they will contact me

so i asked her why did i receive papers from Fedex request with the customers, she hanged a little bit before asking me to hold, after some long time, she came back and told me that she will put me in contact with their guy in the airport who advised me that those papers needs to be signed by some governamental party to allow my goods to get into the country (like i was supposed to know that by my own!) and i have to do it by myself as it is outside the airport! he advised that once i have the approval, i should contact him so he send me someone to collect the approval (Thanks God),

I managed to get the approval two hours after (good thing when dealing with governamenal entity), i called same number and resaid what is going on adding what i am requesting now as i was leading the whole process, i know what is going on more than them, but she advised me to call the call center (i didn't know that the number i got was the custom departement within Fedex) so i called the call center and explained what is going on and what i am requesting, he advised me my details so he can send someone to pick up the approval (he seemed new starter as there was someone beside him telling him what to ask me, it was surprising that they didn't get my info by themselves specially that i provided them the tracking number where my info are listed), well the courrier got and took the approval,

two days later, it is still same status, no one is contacting me to let me know what is happening and the call center doesn't know anything (i believe the only tool thsy have is the tracking tool that i can check from the net which is not very clear to understand what is going on) so i decided to write this complain on Fedex as i still not getting any concrete step nor does they keep me updated.

I forgot to mention that it is currently delayed from the initial expected date by 5 days and that i choose "international priority service" to get it soon but for sure i regret to have chosen Fedex for this shipment and i regret more that i have chosen "international priority service", it is really slow. And i still don't know how much will they surcharge me

i scheduled a pickup on 30th june, tuesday. It is a prepaid ground shipping. If i dont get the item back to Ozark electronics then they wud charge 998 plus tax on my credit card...i stayed that whole day waiting for it, they didnt show up. Again today (2nd july)i had scheduled a pickup and yet again they disappointed me big time. I thought fedex was a good shipping service but it sucks big time. Today again my whole day was wasted.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF DELIVERY. We were expecting a delivery on Saturday June 20 and when I went online to the vendor site for tracking it said there had been an "Attempted" delivery at 9:37 a.m. but we are a store and do not open til 10 a.m. Called, did speak to c.s. and was told the next day for an attempted delivery would be TUESDAY June 23 and I told them our hours. I check the website and tracking, again an "attempted" delivery was made at 9:17 a.m. NO NOTICE ON MY DOOR, NO INDICATIN THEY REALLY DID ATTEMPT THIS.

NOW I am sitting on hold, let's see, for 1 hour and 10 mins so far wiht no customer service person. Just a recorded message "One of our Fed Ex representatives will return to your call as soon as possible". Does that mean never! I have had it. I will never use Fed Ex EVER AGAIN

For two weeks now I've been at war with fedex ground.

I ordered a 4lb harddrive, via 3day service. The day of delivery checked fedex web and it stated that there was a security exception. That was a lie. I was at the office all day no one showed. Didn't receive package until the following Tuesday and it was damged.

I sent it back. The company sends it back thru fedex. Same problems as the first delivery attempt. Est arrival jun 5, driver never showed but fedex website says they did. Security exception. That's. A lie I waited all day for the package. Call fedex useless. Scheduled for jun 6. Waited from 9am to 8pm no package. Check website and it says that driver attempted business closed, that was a lie also.

delivery person who came to pick up package became angry when asked for larger package to ship paper work. He told manager of business for him not to tell him what packages fedex offered and then stormed off. When manager called fedex to complain about driver, he was told he was the only driver and nothing could be done about drivers attitude and only offered drop off location. The manager of location told them he didn't want the disrespectful driver to return to location and was told again that he was only option and they could not offer any other option.

The company spends between 150'000-350,000 a year using fed ex. Company checks and order forms for 12 florida stores were needed to be sent out today. Post office was already closed or this would be a non issue.

Paid 43 for fedex to deliver a small light letter to Paphos Cyprus. ended up in different city, no evidence of receipt at correct address. what does one pay for, an 82cent stamp would have achieved better performance. this was global express guarenteed.

I shipped an overnight Saturday delivery enevlope that contained a check and letter to be read at a charity for SUnday. I was extremly upset to receive a phone call letting me know that package never arrived. I tracked it online and its in Virginia where it belongs just not at the person's house. I called customer service who told me it wasn't in VA and was held up by weather. I told her the weather is fine from here to Va, she told me it goes to another state then to VA. I also told her its already in VA she told me the computer is lying!!! If its tracking the number how can it lie?

To top it off I now have to call another department to "see" if they'll re-emburse me for their mistake. That Charity event is not receiving their check nor are they receiving the note that went along with it. How sad. I won't ever use Fed EX again. We have business accounts, personal accounts and you know what. I don't care if its only one person, this onw person has a big mouth and will make sure others here about the agent who could care less and acompany that doesn'tstand behind its product.

It seems to me that every driver of this company should have a navigation system. I have been tracking my package down since last Thursday and it keeps going back to the Beltsville Fed Ex Location (it's Tuesday ...6 days later) Everyday I call and give them my address and they keep saying "We are sorry for this inconvenience but apparently we dont have your unit number" and everyday I give it to them followed by my address. I told them to ship it to UPS cause I have no problems with them (this is my first time using Fed Ex).

I will probably have to drive over an hour away to Beltsville and get my package myself since the drivers are getting paid to do nothing. I am very dissapointed with this service and will stick with UPS for as long as I live.
