Rose of New Kensington, PA September 20, 2009 A hygentist at Dentistry for Kids cleaned my son's (age 9)teeth and did a panorex (full mouth) xray. Dr Price came in looked in his mouth for 20 seconds and told me he had 2 cavities that needed scheduled for fillings. No BITEWING xrays were done. I was skeptical and asked why he would have 2 cavities since Dr Price had put sealants (for $90 per tooth) on all his teeth prior to this appt. Dr Price shrugged his shoulders and said thats not always a 100% guarantee. They rushed me into the front office to schedule the fillings for the following week. I went home and was doubtful, so the next day I took my son to another dentist who thoroughly examined his teeth and said he had NO cavities. I believe Dr. Price is committing insurance fraud and needs to be stopped. Thank god I had doubts and didn't have my sons perfectly normal teeth drilled for NO reason. He needs to be investigated for FRAUD. I pulled my kids out of that practice never to return there again, and called the office manager and told her what I did with the 2nd opinion. I asked her to have Dr. Price call me that I wanted to speak with him about the situation, and he did not even give me a courtesy call back ever. I asked for my kids dental records and the office wanted to charge me $40 per child. I refused payment and did not get their records. I wanted to see if he changed the records indicating "no cavities" to cover up his LIES. Report Your Experience
