Judy of Caro, MI October 13, 2009 I was searching for a job on job.com, I found a job titled: " Sporting Event Liaison", clicked on view job and apply now, I read the description, it even had the salary range that it was offering, I filled out the application, attached my resume and submitted it. The next screen that came up said " Unfortunately, we were unable to find any jobs that matched your specific criteria. Your search criteria may be too limiting or your search may be invalid. Click the link below for help on formulating your search criteria. Remember, may employers do not post their open positions online, but you can still reach them by keeping your resume active and up to date and also by taking advantage of our Resume Distribution Service. See below for details" I didn't click on anything else, I just sat there thinking I was searching, I was applying. Then my home phone rang, it was The Academic Advising Center. They said that I applied for going back to school, I said no I didn't, I was applying for a job, Sporting Event Liaison, and how did you get my phone number? Then she hung up. Now I am getting spam emails and telemarketers calling my home. I tried calling the phone number listed, but all you get is the human resources mailbox, so I hung up and tried again, only this time using different options, again, the human resources mailbox, I did it again, choosing again different options, same thing. Every phone call that comes through, never gets answered, you wait on hold waiting for a representative to pick up your line and no one does, so then it tells you to leave a message. No one calls you back. so then I went to their site again and looked around, I filled out a form to advertise, someone called me back then, when I told them my story they didn't have anyway to help me. I have also tried to remove my personal information from thier site and I cannot do that. I only allowed my personal information to go to the job I was applying for. but it was a fake job posting. | |||
