World Class Distributing

Salinas CA

Sabrina of Greenfield CA writes (12/1/01):
I started my employment as a World Class distributor on 10-31-01. I demonstrated in approximately 35 homes. I was told I would make $25.00 per demo by the first of the month. 35 x 25 = $875.00.

I called into the office to assure my check was there and I was told by Gunther he had no control, I would have to speak to the owner Willie, but he was going to be out of town until the following day. I worked very hard for this company and have been paid a total of $139.00 for a month's worth of work which was for a sale I made of $1700.00.

To me this is not fair we all work to make money and I gave this company a month of my time expecting payment. Would you work for free? I don't think anyone would. My next step will be the labor board.

This sounds like an in-home sales gig. Unfortunately, the multi-level marketing game victimizes not only consumers, who pay way too much for way too little, but also the sales people, who often wind up making next to nothing ... if that. Sabrina could try going to Small Claims Court but she will have to be certain she has written documentation to support her case.
