Like John, I also entered into an agreement with BMG in exchange for a 2 free cd's for life. BMG was purchased by Najafi Companies. I am filing a complaint again Najafi, who purchased the obligation to me, with the Attorney General of Arizona and the BBB.

actuarial value of CD's I would have received for the remainder of my life; Damages due to breach of contract

In 2002 my wife responded to an offer for 12 cds for 9.99. After the 1st couple of cds did not include titles she ordered, she sent them back and called up to cancel. She was billed for the initial 12 for 9.99 though never eceiving 12 cds) and paid this anyway. 7 yrs later a collection agency has report to Experian that when the acct was closed there was an outstanding balance (won't say how much) and with 3 a month late fees for the past 80 or so mos. she now owes 255!

Her credit score has gone down 40 points which will have a deep monetary effect on the cost of future credit of immeasurable amounts of cash. Please stop these crooks from ruining peoples lives. 40 p lowering credit score with Experian. We are trying to buy our 1st house and this will set us back. Not to mention all her crdit cards will now raise in pct points.

I have been a long time member of BMG Music Service and at one time I entered into a contract with BMG stating that if I immediately bought x number of CDs I would get 1 free CD every year for life; if I bought 2x number of CDs I would get 2 free CDs every year for life. This worked fine and I got my 2 free CDs every year for about 4 years, until now. I have been told by their rep that the company has reorganized into a new company called Yourmusic and that my free CDs for life contract will no longer be honored. As I am still alive, I am now being cheated out of years of free CDs that I contracted with BMG for by fulfilling my end of the obligation.

Loss of 2 CDs/year for the remainder of my lifetime.

For everyone out their that is having problems with BMG music collection agencies calling and hurrising you more then once a day. What you do then next time they call is tell them that if are going to continue to call you through out the day then you are going to go to lawyer and file hurrisment charges on them. collection agencies are only supposed to call you once a day after 8:00 in the morning and no latter then 9:00 at night. What you do is get their name if you can and their represenative number (if they try to tell you that they don't have one they are either lieing or they are fakes) once you get their name , number and phone number right it all down and if you absolutly have to get a lawer then you will have proof. i know all of this because i used to work for the billing department for a major cell phone company. good luck to all of you

Even though I have paid off all of my bills with the BMG Sony Music Company and have cancelled my membership with one of the sales representatives, the company still continues to harass me stating that I still owe 21.77. I told them that I paid that off months ago and that a sales representative did verify that my account would be closed and that my balance is cleared.

They continue to harass me at random times during the past two years with phone calls made by individuals with thick accents. The result is that they threaten to ruin my credit score by the collections agency and they hang up on me during the phone calls.
