Tonia of Newark valley, NY April 29, 2009

today 04/28/09 checked my credit report on line and i have a collection for 188 from 12/08 I Have never received anything in the mail from this company nor contacted them in anyway. This is hurting my credit and pissing me off. Please someone help. I have never used this said company at any point in my life and i knw it wasn't my children as they have IPODS and own only few CDS received as gifts from family, also they are all to young to use the Internet or fill out order cards.

Samantha of Wichita Falls, TX April 25, 2009

I just found out as of March 2009 BMG has reported on my credit report I owe 185. I have never in my life had an account with them. I am trying to buy a house right now and this does not look good. I buy all my music from iTunes and I watch movies through net flix. I am very upset. I am having a hard time get a home loan I'm only a few points away from qualifying.

One fine day I couldn't access my Amex card for some reason at the near by Walgreens. So I call Amex and they tell me that they canceled my credit card because a Collection has been reported on my credit score and then I got to Experian and dispute. This so called NCS credit soultions handles BMG cases. So, I call them and ask them what is going on and then the female tells me that I owe something to BMG music years ago.

I have no idea and I requested for proof. I got a letter from NCS telling me that I bought a CD from BMG LOS LONELY BOYS.. LOL i dont even know who they are ? worth of some 22..dont know when ..the letter doesn't show the date I bought it ..and the letter is not signed by any person. it just says..Compliance Department.. Also, I have email correspondences with BMG Customer Service during 2004 for similar acts they have done; asking them not to send CD's I dont request for and also to close my account.

I also have an email from them that they closed my account. But I guess they keep sending CDs to my old address after I moved. I am not sure how to handle this. My Credit score went 735 to 660. I am not wiling to pay either for the CD(22)or for the collection(143).

I received a credit alert that I had a derogatory account on my Experian Credit Report. I checked it and it listed a National Credit Services as collecting for BMG Music. I called them and they said it was an account from 2005 for 21 and they wanted 198. Plus I will be charged 3 a month until it is paid. They claimed that I was sent a letter to my address a month prior, which is not true. I am pretty upset! I used to have BMG 10+ years ago, but I did not do business with them in 2005. I don't like them and have not used them since I was a teenager. My perfect credit score of 760 is now 660.

I disputed it with Experian and sent NCS a certified debt verification letter. I don't know what else to do. This is not my debt! After I sent my DV letter to NCS, they sent me a dunning letter as required by law, but it did not have any useful information except where to send them money. I am happy to pay my debts- I had perfect credit until this. But I do not want to pay if this bill is not mine and even if I did pay them, who is to say they won't just leave it on credit report for 7 years.

How frustrating! I feel for those that are trying to buy a house right now with a similar situation. It is very possible that some of my lenders will lower my credit limits or even cancel my lines of credit because of this foolishness. I lost my job in August 2008, and I do not need this kind of thing messing with my life right now...or ever! My credit score dropped from 760 to 660 and may cause me other problems if my creditors veiw this as real and accurate. The mental stress, anger and frustration is beyond description.

In March of 2009, I recieved my credit report and saw that i had a 200 dollar balance on it from BMG Music Service that was negatively affecting my credit score. i have never ordered anything from this company and had never receieved a bill until i disputed this on my crediy report. Today, April 13, 2009, I received a letter from National Credit Solutions saying that i owe 200.84. when i contacted someone at NCS about this bogus matter, they informed me that the fees were justified. How? No signature, no SS number, no ID. Nothing.

this has affected my credit score so much that my husband I had to pay more closing cost on our refinance loan. this company had no phone number or address for me until i diputed them on my credit report. Can they actually get away with this? The woman from National Credit Solutions was nasty and down right rude. So rude in fact that she even hung up the phone on me. Are these two companies working together? I see many complaints about this on this website, please reassure me that actions are being taken to put an end to this scam. This can really take a toll on you. I have never ordered anything from this company.

Higher closing cost on refinance loan due to lower credit score. Overall frustration!
