Movieland ads keep popping up on my computer. I never ordered anything from them. They say I am being charged now since I didn't cancel.  I don't know what I'm supposed to be cancelling!

Any ideas how to get rid of them?  This is not right.

Peter of Elizabeth, NJ February 15, 2006

Movieland's software sort-of hitched a ride when I was looking at other things besides movies and now are a part of my computer.  This thing hide a day or two and now 6 or 7 xrated pop-ups appear when any other software comes up by my will or at random.

It's embarrising to have these pop-ups.  To carry out business in this fasion is crimminal and should be dealt with that way, the internet is getting worse and worse! What to do????

Alesia of Berea, KY February 15, 2006

I'm getting a pop up, on my business computer, that won't go away . Pop up claims we went through a four step process of downloading their product, and that we must pay 99 for the popups to stop.

I don't even recognize their website and never download any such thing.

Aaron of Plainview, TX February 15, 2006

Spyware was added to my computer maliciously and was extremely difficult to remove. This spyware was very deep into my system and took several different programs to remove it. Tried to get me to enter credit card number in order to steal that number. Tried to blame me for downloading saying that it had my ip address and I owed them money since the 3 day "trial" was up. It said that simply removing the "software" would not end my obligation to pay them money. Very malicious spyware, the worst I have ever encountered.

Matthew of Virginia Beach, VA February 14, 2006

I never downloaded the movieland service and started to receive payment reminders, on 2/11/06, because apparently there was a three-day free trial never knew anything about it.
