Here's what Ticketsnow.com has to say and here's what its customers say:

I went on a radio station web site promoting a presale through Ticketmaster to purchase advanced sales tickets to the Kenny Chesney concert in Philadelphia, Pa. I was trying to purchase tickets quickly due to the time restraint they put on you, and was redirected to Tickets Now, and bought tickets with a face value of 99 for 185 a ticket. Plus enormous fees. I bought 2 tickets, and this was supposed to be a presale. I am discussed and totally broke, and very untrusting right now. This is a disgrace.

I am very unhappy. I don't understand why Ticketmaster would redirect a consumer who is trying to buy tickets during a presale to their other company that charges double. Economically, these tickets are expensive and we really shouldn't be indulging ourselves and now it is costing us double.

Bobbi of York, PA April 1, 2009

I feel like I have been scammed. I bought two tickets for 730.25 for the Beatles. When I received the tickets, they were priced at 30.00 a ticket. Then I found out they were not for the concert I wanted. Their website was not clear that this was a cover band. I wanted to go and see Paul McCartney and Ringo Star. Why would I pay that much to go see a cover band. And why would I pay 730.25 through TicketsNow when I could have bought these tickets for 60.00 from the venue.

There were still many tickets available. I called TicketsNow and explained to them the mistake and they laughed at me and said there are no refunds and that I would be surprised how many people do not research They bank on people not researching these tickets so they can rip people off. They also said that they don't monitor the websites and they don't monitor what the tickets are selling for.

I am not usually a complainer, but this hurt. My only dream was to go see the rest of the Beatles in concert. I now will not be able to do so. And I will never buy anything else on-line, this taught me that it is legal to scam consumers. Plus with the economy and my company layoff people/cutting back hours, I could not afford just throwing 730.25 is the garbage.

I purchased 2 tickets for the JO Dee Messina concert for 04/17/09. I was supposed to get two tickets for VIP 4th Row - Row D - Seats 1 & 2. Instead, I received tickets for Section E - Row F seats 13 & 14. I purchased these tickets to get as close to the stage as possible. These are not what I ordered. I emailed TicketsNow 2 times and and called their customer service dept three times.

I spoke with 3 Customer Service Reps. Three of the reps, Rubin, Derrick, and Veronica said they would call me back. I have not received a response from any one. One reps name is Rubin. I called him 2 days later and he never called back. I also paid a 34.00 service charge for tickets that were way over priced. This is outrageous.

I want some compensation for not getting the tickets that I was supposed to get. I was charged a hefty service fee for these tickets that were marked up 3 times the face value.

I haven't been taken like this in a long time! I feel like I've been completely robbed! I purchased these tickets for BeattleMania so I could take my girlfriend who loves the Beattles. Come to find out that there were many tickets available for 25 dollars a piece and to make things even worse, when we arrived at the show and because I made the mistake of not looking closely at the tickets I was told they were for the 10:30 p.m. show and not the 8 p.m. which is what I had ordered.

I ended up paying 250 dollars for a show that should have cost me 50. I don't have a problem paying a reasonable price but this was absolute robbery. Your company says that you are a member of the Better Business Bureau. This transaction was not right. I'm hoping that you will do the honorable honest thing and offer some sort of refund. I'm not one to complain but I felt so taken that it really destroyed the remainder of the evening.Robert T is the name on the Ticketmaster tickets. I assumed that because this company was a subsidiary of Ticket Master they could be trusted. Obviouslu not. I go to quite a few shows but will never do business with either of these companies again. I will also warn everyone I know what a shady business these companies are.

Paid 5 times the actual value for these tickets, not to mention the total embarrassment felt of being so seriously taken.

Mrs. of Denville, NJ March 12, 2009

Mrs. of Denville NJ (03/12/09)
On January 30,2009 I purchased a Phish concert ticket for my son, Michael. I was trying to do him a favor as the tickets sell out quickly and he was at work.I tried to go through Ticketmaster and was diverted to TicketsNow. I thought the price was steep and within a half hour I contacted them to cancel the order.Ticketmaster said since it was so soon after purchase that they should be benevolent and reverse the credit card charge and cancel the ticket order. To no avail--they were NOT kind and gave me (I suppose they're correct)the speech about reading the fine print.

Please knwo that I purchased these tickets almost 6 months in advance of the concert. Within weeks of this experience I read about the Bruce Springsteen fiasco with TicketsNow and Tickermaster and feel they did the same thing to me only a different venue.I have emailed and called to know avail and have two disputes against them with my credit card company. All I want is the difference of what the ticket should have cost and the amount I paid reimbursed back to my account.
