Complain about a product or service

Ben of San Jose, CA (5/6/02):
I bought a pair of Arnette Deuce sunglasses from them. They have discount prices on sunglasses. I paid around 60 dollars from them not including shipping and handleing. Roughly 15 dollars less then retail.

When I recieved them I observed the sunglasses and compared them to the exact pair in the store and found that sunglasses sent to me were not authentic and not worth the amount I paid for them. They were a knock off that I paid just less then full price for. Eyesave.com was also very unresponsive and had the worst customer support I have ever encountered.

The company responds:

I ran across a very negative and incorrect comment posted by a consumer regarding the authenticity of our product. In the comment the customer stated that they purchased a pair of glasses from us and after comparing them to a pair at the store it was determined that they were imitations. All of our products are 100% authentic and we would be happy to provide invoices from the manufacturer.

This is terribly bad press for us considering the statement on your site is COMPLETELY UNTRUE.
