After reading all thses complaints, I don't feel so alone in my feeling about Chase Auto Finance. I purchased a vehicle last summer through Chase [my first time]. Shortly afterward, I lost my job. Chase was horrible to work with, they were unhelpful, rude and heartless. They called my home day and night [even after agreeing to payment arrangements]. They called references and told them they were concerned because they could not locate me because they lost my contact information; although, they had spoken to me just days prior and immediately afterward!

They threatened me over and over to repossess my car and I wasn't even 30 days late. They refused to stop calling. They told me that they will keep calling because it was thier right. They even called my mother in law and discussed my account [at least twice]. I complained to BBB and that went in circles. They reported to the BBB that I was 3 months behind [a total lie] and they were following the guidelines for the Fair Debt Collection Act; even though they were obviously abusing the interpretation of it.

I eventually got a message from a Vice President that passed me off to his assistant [who never returned my calls]. I was so frustrated that the only thing I could do was request to BBB that they cease all communication [exept for monthly statements]. That angered them, so they shot off a letter stating that if I EVER get behind on my payments again that they will repossess without notice. Oh, did I mention this all took place over the holidays. Nice!!! Merry Christmas Chase!!

It was very stressful, I scraped every penny I had together to pay them. my children did not get Christmas gifts and we barely had any food to eat. Just so the phone calls would stop!!!! But they didn't, no matter how I tried to handle the situation; it wasn't good enough for them and I'm a deadbeat who should be grateful they haven't taken back their car yet. I should borrow form friends or sell something to get the money to them. The best advice was get a PayDay loan!!!???.

I financed a jeep thru chase shortly after I purchased it my husband filed for divorce and which blind sided me and I did not have any money coming in to make payments, I kept calling them to come get the jeep finally they did 3 mos later now trying to resolve the deficiency amount they are very rude, when I was trying to find out if they received the canceled warranty reimbursement check and the canceled gap insurance check which would cover my balance plus refund me some money, but of course they have not received it and told me that interest will keep accuring on the balance until paid. these people are very rude and not very helpful. I got hung up on 2 times this morning trying to call them and then transferred to a voice mail box that was full and could not take any more messages.

I noticed on 3/30/09 that almost 500 had been deducted from my Credit Union Savings account by Chase Auto. I used to have an account with them and had paid off my loan in December 08. My account was closed at that time. When I contacted them, they told me it was my fault and that it was my responsibility to cancel my Chase online payment. Nowhere was it mentioned I needed to go in and close it once my account was paid off.

Long story short, both customer service supervisors blamed me for the error and told me I needed to fax them a copy of the transaction showing the money had been taken from my account. After doing so, Anthony told me I would receive an overnight check. I didn't receive the check. I called back and spoke with Francis, she was cold and uncaring and really didn't care about the issue. All she could do is blame me over and over again.

They took my rent out of my account, me and my boys will end up on the street if I do not get the money back, she didn't express concern. She just told me it would take a minimum of three working days to research the issue and then once identified as having the funds deducted I would be reimbursed. In other words, my rent could be late by as much as twelve days. That won't work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH CHASE AUTO.

i was a little late with my monthly payment, called the company and they were very rude, threatening to repossess my car if i didnt make my payment on that date. i told them the payment would be made within 48 hrs and they continued to threaten me with repossession. i have tried to explain to them that i work agency and that i have not been working steady and was not trying to get out of making a car payment, but they state that they are going to repossess the car.

i was calling about my car payment and before i could say a word the person whoo i was talking to referes to himself as george tells me that i am refusing to pay the monthly payment . i answere him that i was calling because i calling to find out status of the modification i put in for my car payment he again threatens me and says that i am refusing to make a payment . again i corrected him and told him that i am having a hard time with payment can you please tell me status then he says you have been refused due to cahrge off with chase you had in the past i told him that was not a charge off we had disputed some charges and chase agreed to it we had no idea they would call it a charge off .

again he rudely said that you ar refusing to pay i attempted to speak to him he said i will write down that you are refusing to pay and hing up how rude ps he said he is taping the conversation i told hin can i get a copy he said no and i told him next time i will tape our conversation he then advise me if i did that he would have to hang up i guess they can do thing that we cant
