Tami of Mechanicsville, MD March 26, 2009

Tami of Mechanicsville MD (03/26/09)
On March 25,2009 my husband recieved a phone call from a lady who said she was a detective. She was on a three way call with Chase. They proceeded to threaten us with picking up the vehicle, the threats went on and on. They even accused my husband of having criminal backround over and over again. They were not even trying to make payment arrangements they just threatened and threatened him.

Were to a point its day two March 26th and Mr. W is telling me to have my husband take all of his crap out of the car so they can pick it up. At this point I don't even want to give them money or our business they can have the car shove it up their you know whats and we can all go about our own business. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SUED FOR SLANDER THEY CALLED MY HUSBAND A CRIMINAL AND WE ARE GOOD HARD WORKING PEOPLE.

I tried to be nice and calm but Mr. W got my heart palpatating and my blood pressure going. I am 34 and very healthy but he really got me going.

I have been out of work for 3 months now and have been really behind with my finances. I have spoken to numerous customer service agents and tell them that I am trying my hardest to make a payment. I finally received a part time job and on my first check I was going to make at least a month payment but they said they will not accept it until I make two months of payments. If I don't have it they will just repo the vehicle. I need my vehicle for work to pay them so it makes no sence. I asked if there are any programs or arrangements that will work with me on this vehicle but they said no. The best advice that they could give me would be to pawn my personal belongings or borrow the money from family.

Every one is hurt due to job loss from the economy, if I could of borrowed that money I would have the first month to avoid all these fees that are accruing. I was so happy to finally be able to make a payment and they just put me under more stress because now I have to keep looking out my window hoping to not see my car gone. I have been losing hours of sleep and my heart beats everytime I see headlights in the window. I get paranoid attacks just from them threatening that they are going to take my vehicle away. They even told me I should remove my personal belongings for when the repo man does come. Instead of giving me advice on how to keep the vehicle they are giving me advice on how to give it back. I just don't understand.

I think it's time for everyone to get together and sue the crap out of Chase Auto Finance for their aggressive, obnoxious, and illeagal collection practices. This company is ruthless, and judging from all the other complaints about this company I'm not the only one that feels this way. We definitely have a harrassment case against this company! I have had similar experiences with Chase... harrassing phone calls, phone calls to friends and family, threats etc. Enough is enough... LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!

Karen of Kansas City, MO March 18, 2009

This place is horrible. They call you from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. constantly harrassing you for a payment. Today I made my payment. it is 23 days late. This Mr. Jones has threatened me. I feel like he is harrassing me. He even told me he was sending someobdy to my home because I did not return his calls. I did talk to someone , I told them when I was going to make my payment. They wanted me to authorize them to take money out of my account on the day I spooke to them although I was tlling them I wa going to be making the payment a week later. They told me they wouold hold it until them.

When I did not agree he told me they would stop the calls for 24 hrs but start again after that because I would not authorize him on that day for a payment which I told him I was going to pay a week later. This has cause me undue stress. I hate to hear the phone rings, in fact when I hear it my head or swtomach aches. This is just terrible, If i hve been late 30 days it's nly been 1x. Also what they will do, is if it is close to 30 days, they will just all it 30 days,

somethinhg has to be done with an organization that treats people like this I am a human being. I am an adult and I am responsible, but everybody is having difficulty right now, Ihve this car for three years. In 3 yers, Ive been a good payer, Oh, I just hate this, please get me somebody else to finane me. I owe about 5000.oo Im paying it off and I will never, ever use this company for anything.

Personal stress. I stopped smnoking, and picked it up again, Im trying to stop again.

these folks have held on time payments so that they can post late-twice last year-and in addition-when a my account goes a single day late they begin calling at 8am-every 45 minutes-all day long-every damn day-until they post the payment.

the false late hurt my scores-and the harrassing calls guarantee iI will never do business with them again-imagine how much time and mioney they are wasting-not to mention all the negative goodwill they are creating
