Mary of East Rocheser NY (03/11/09)
I tried to negotiate my car loan with Chase after missing a number of payments due to extenuating circumstances. No one has gotten back to me, I've been waiting for days to get a reply, all they're doing it tacking on storage fees for my vehicle!!! They actually PROMISED that someone would call me back tonite by the end of the business day and so far NOTHING.

I need my vehicle to get back and forth from work. They refuse to contact me to deal with me when I've offered explicitely to negotiate with them!

Sandie of Salinas, CA March 4, 2009

Sandie of Salinas CA (03/04/09)
I called Chase Auto Finance 3 times today to lower my interest rate and monthly payments. The first call, I was told I had to go on line and refinance for the interest rate and then call a number to lower my payments. I was transfered to an extention and place on perpetual hold towards where I had to hang up my break was over. Second Call, I was told a different story. I was told that the re-finance department would help me with the solution of both problems, I was then transferred to the finance department where I was then sent on a recorded frenzy press this for this press that for that and by the end of the call I was right back where I started from.

Third call, I got another story, I was told that I could not re-finance through a phone call and that there was no other place to call to lower my payments and in the same breath was asked why I needed to lower my payments? I this point I was livid and asked why she needed to know was she the person I would need to talk to, she then stated no it is only for documentation? I told her it was really none of her business if she was not the one who would approve or decline my request. I felt humiliated. I then asked to speak to her supervisor and she put me on perpetual hold and left me there! I did not accomplish anything at all. I will never bank nor loan with Chase.

I called to make my auto loan payment and was informed that they charged for the service. I told the person just forget it, I will just run a check up to the local bank and pay it for free. The person apparently did not cancel the trasaction and they debited my account a second time for my payment. When I contacted chase and told them what happened they did not replace my money or the overdraft fees it cost me. Said they had to research it even though I faxed them copies of the 2 payments and my bank statement showing the overdrafts. I have been trying to get my money back for3 days now and still being told they are researching it.

This caused items to overdraft in my account and caused me not to be able to make other payments I needed to make. Now will be charged late payments for those things and it is going to show on my credit. This whole ordeal has cost me 633.00 so far and I need the money back. My hours at work have been cut and my wife has been laid off for months and money is tight as it is right now.

i purchased a car i co singed my self on the loan before the economy crash. i did not want the car i tried to talk my way out of the dealer but it did not work out. so i dealt with it and tried it out it was going so great until i lost my job and i have no money to make payments i call and say i have no money for the payments and i get rude answers. they still say i owe money and i told them i have none but yet they say for me to get it somehow which i can't its those non American citizens or immigrants from India or some other country chase hires and are rude to us over the phone.

i am not racists i just hate arguing. i hate listening to them and arguing with me i say forget it and file for bankruptcy and that way they can't do jack squat to me they can take back the car ill voluntary get it repossessed ill take the 7 yrs bad credit i got nothing else in mind if i do get a job ill rent a place pay cash only i don't need credit to rent a apartment. its hard to get a job in this economy so i will have no choice to do all this. chase is not a good company i hate rich people pushing the poor around that is what chase does and the world bank that is apart of their company.
