Denise of Euclid, OH October 8, 2009 I filed my compaint August 18th, see Denise from Euclid. I want to urge everyone who has posted a complaint on this site & everyone who most likely will, to file complaints with the Attorney General in Florida, BBB in Florida & the FTC, I did. A few weeks after I contacted the Attorney General in Florida I received a packet of forms to complete. If you haven't already, please, please take the time to contact these offices. It's too late for many of us but not so for other unexpecting consumers. The only way to stop the Elect group from doing more harm is too shut them down!!! Susan of Mobile, AL September 29, 2009 Does anyone have the phone number for these crooks? They got me for 1100 and have changed all phone numbers and email addresses. My mortgage company is starting all over with my modification without Elect Group involved. I will be contacting the Attorney General for the state of Florida. Michael of Deerfield Beach , FL September 3, 2009 Elect Group ripped me off too for 1,675.00 but I found one of the owners phone numbers after one of his employees ratted him out and went to work for another company. I figured I would share it all with you. They are also running another scam called impressionmedia and the office address where they are located is Boca Raton FL 33431. I lost my home in foreclosure. Suzy of San Antonio, TX August 31, 2009 I find it very disturbing to read the things I have read on this website. I wish I would have done a little more research on this company. I paid them 1199.00 in January and NOTHING has been done. I have had to deal with my mortgage company on my own. I am now trying to get my money back (if not all of it at least half). They did nothing but make me fall more behind on my payments. I sure hope someone stops this company from taking away more money from people who are losing their homes. Ute of Laconia, NH August 31, 2009 i tried to get a loan modification thru Elect group. I had strted in January of 2009 and they told it would take 60-90 day, i paid them 1250.00 and have not gotten anywhere, if anyone gets a call from them hangup. my house allso went in to forcloser and i'm still working with my bank, now they wont return my calls or do bussines in NH anymore, i thought i was going to have a breakdown. Elizabeth of Seymour, IN August 28, 2009 I have the same complaint as everyone else. They took 1229 and did nothing. My home is still in foreclosure. Now, they say on the web site that they don't service the state I live in. They are just downright dirty and scandalous preying on people who need help. I will probably lose my home. My mother is an invalid and has lived this home for 40 years. It is very sad. Richard of Rohnert Park, CA August 26, 2009 I started a loan modification in November of 2008. As of April 24, 2009 nothing had happened. I had paid 2,709 of which I was guaranteed that if they could not perform I would receive 50% refunded. I asked for the refund and was told in June that it had been approved and I would receive my cashier's check by the end of June. Nothing has happened and all I get is double talk.No one will give me the number to the corporate office. I have filed a complaint with the Florida Real Estate Department and the Attorney General's office. Aracelli of Devine , TX August 19, 2009 The company promised to help with modification, took our 1000.00 but have not completed loan. The company's phones get disconnected, the website is closed out, can't reach anyone anymore. We want our money refunded, they guaranteed that if they could not help they would reimburse our money back. They are crooks stealing money from good people and should be stopped and put in prison. Denise of Euclid, OH August 18, 2009 I'm the newest member of the "Swindled by the Elect Group" club. Everything written on this site is true!!! I experienced it. I was contacted by William (Bill) Damelio in Jan 2009. I was "lucky" to have the President of Private Accounts assisting me. He gave me his work #, cell# & private e-mail address. Lucky me!! Bill said they could get my payments cut in half as well as get my interest rate down to 4.25% & combine both mortgages. He siad the fee was the equivalent of one house payment not to exceed 2000.00. He said I "sounded like such a nice lady & he wanted to help me, the fee would be 1000.00". I checked them out with the BBB and they had a A+ rating. I even did a empolyment check, alot of good that did me. I sent in all the paperwork requested within 2 days including the 1000.00. He told me "I was not like the typcial clients they sign up, they were just days away from foreclosure." He told me to "stop making the mortgage payments (he knew I couldn't pay the fee & make my payments),that it would help my request/need for a modification". Here I am 8 months into it & facing foreclosure & I have some con man running around with my SS# & charge card #, bank # etc. I wasn't even behind in our mortgage. Once the paperwork was in, then the fun began. I waited the 60 days he suggested, he said it would take at least that long to get the mortgage companies to consider my request. I started calling in May with no results and no response to e-mails by June you could not call by phone only e-mail because phones were disconnected. My personal website to check the progress of my account has been closed out. I was out on a medical leave in June & when I returned on July 7th I checked their website (no PC at home, can't afford it) there in red is a notice saying they don't do business in several states including Ohio. It sure wasn't there in June before my leave. Nothing absolutley nothing has been done on my behalf by this comapny. I am know tryoing to work it out myself with our mortgage companies. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General in Florida & the BBB. I urge everyone who has been "scammed" to do the same. Somehow we have to stop them from taking any more unsupecting consumers money while putting them at harms way. My home is going into foreclosure thanks to the advice of the company. They have stolen 1000.00 from me. Donna of Westminster, MD August 11, 2009 This company promises the moon and stars and always paints a great picture. Once they received our money, they did NOTHING!! I did the negotiating with our mortgage company and they tried to say that I didn't provided the documents when requested when in fact, I provided the same documents more than once as they were stalling for time and did nothing to assist us in our negotiating for a mortgage modification. I have filed a complaint with FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE and everyone should do the same to get a class action suit going. Report Your Experience
