I would like to notify everyone possible of the reverse mortgage scams that are going on right now with Lend More mortgage company. I was referred to a Frank Millia from this company back in Nov. 2008 to help me with my situation. I was looking for someone trustworthy to help me with my back taxes that were owed on my home. I was told that I was able to do a reverse mortgage on my home and pay off all of my back taxes that were owed. I was given until March 09 to pay off the oldest tax year that I owed which was 2005.

I was assured by Frank that the whole process would take about 30 days and that everything would be paid off and not to worry. He told us that he would notify the county of the reverse mortgage that would be in progress and that would stopped them from my home going into foreclosure.He constantly kept on pushing back the closing date stating that no one was getting back to him and that was the reason why the process was taking so long.

It is now Feb 11th 2009 and I decided to contact the town to see if he had notified them of this reverse mortgage and the town said they were never contacted by anyone and that i was in greater danger of losing my home if i didn't come up with 2,400 in 10 days. I feel that Frank was pulling a scam with my home trying to buy it off by paying off the back taxes that would be owed if March came around and they weren't paid off. I have recently fired Frank, but he still holds on to some important documents that belong to myself and my family and I would like them returned.
