Adela of Lubbock TX (03/31/09) I have been trying to contact Midland Mortgage company and only get the automated system. I have used every phone number they list and the automated system is activited. I paid my morgtage loan off on February 27, 2009 and they listed me dilinquent on my credit report. I called on that day to see if they got my check and I guess they did because they sent me a check from the ovrepayment. Can someone tell me how I can reach these people and speak to a PERSON? I need my credit file to reflect my payment please. Thank you

Curtis of Honolulu HI (03/31/09) I had a mortgage with GMAC. was always complaining to them that they fail to use the technology available to properly notify me of problems. instead of sending snail mail all of the time, they need to send me an email and let me know when there is a problem. because of work, I have moved 6 times in 6 years and my postal address changes constantly, my email address has been the same for 10 years. my house is rented out.
What a wake up call. GMAC pimped out my mortgage to midland. I thought GMAC [was bad]. midland must be the worst I have ever heard of! it is impossible to make a payment online! no method whatsoever to make a web based payment and the joker I talked to said they have no plans on changing it. Then I find out they are closed on the weekends. So you cant make a payment on the weekends either. And wait... they charge you to make a payment on your own account. I get charged 20 for the privilege of them to take my money. Wow what a scam!
WHY is it possibly for GMAC to transfer my mortgage without my permission? I don't want to be with midland. No one asked me, but yet I am stuck now with the bottom of the barrel of predatory lenders and I cant just refinance as my credit got messed up. So I am not STUCK with the worst of the worst. I bet GMAC did that on purpose. I complain about their lack of technology, and they stick me with someone that is even worse than them. I am infuriated. I am an IT guy and this is beyond absurd that I have to even consider dealing with such a lack of intelligence company that doesn't know about technology.
Cost me extra money now to make payments. they charge me each time to make a payment. the payment is not enough, now i get charged for making a payment. Richard of Kapolei, HI March 18, 2009
Richard of Kapolei HI (03/18/09) Cannot get in to account and impossible to contact anyone. I reset password numerous times but it doesn't do any good, it says the password they just sent is invalid. Upon googling Midland Mortgage EVERY hit was from someone complaining about them. They bought my mortgage from my original mortgage company and I have been unable to get any info since then other than when I first set up my account. Now they always say my password is incorrect, I reset it, they send a new one, and it also is incorrect. I can't reach anyone to fix this situation. All I get is recorded messages with no options to talk to a real person.
Looking at all the complaints about them, I can see why they don't want to talk to anyone. I want to get a new mortgage company and have companies like Midland disbanded, CEOs arrested, etc. They are apparently a scam company that somehow convinced my previous mortgage company they were legitimate. They are probably run by the mafia or south american drug lords.
I cannot manage my finances because they won't allow me to get into my account nor will they reset it. Garnett of Stone Mountain, GA January 28, 2009
Garnett of Stone Mountain GA (01/28/09) In December I recieved a motion of stay request from Midland stating that I was 3 months behind and they were requesting that my chapter 13 bankruptcy be rescinded. They had a court hearing schedule for 1/14/09, when that date arrived my attorney had proof that had made the payments that they were questioning. They then came up with another set of dates that they stated I had not paid. When proof was shown they have not answered my attorneys request to resolve this problem, this is going on six weeks that we have tried to resolve this issue with very little help from them on what is owed.
In the meantime I was advised by my attorney in Janaury not to make any payments to Midland. I am afraid that they are trying to let a certain time frame go by and then say I am three months behind. Currently I have not made any payments since December trying to resolve this issue they will not contact me nor my attorney telling us where the case stands. In Febuary it will be 3 months and I am afraid they will try to foreclose for none bayment. I need help to get this issue resolved so I can keep my home.
In July of 2008 I was laid-off from my job that I was on for 13 years and now I have to deal with thi mess. According to my records only 1 payment was missed 10/08 and that was due to medical issues that had to be addressed. In 2005 I injuried my back and was told by the Doctor I had a herinated disc, when I lost my job I also lost my healthcare insurance so all visit and meds come out of my pocket. I am contacting my attorney 1/28/09 and instructing them to offer them 1200 and pay the balance over six months. We have tried to make this offer 10 days ago but they will not respond. I really need help resolving this issue.
If thi issue is not resolved I will lose my home that I have lived in for the last 10 years. On top of losing my job and now someone is trying to steal my home. Bill of The Woodlands, TX January 6, 2009
Bill of The Woodlands TX (01/06/09) My house was damaged by Hurricane Ike on September 12. I received my first insurance payment to begin work. The check was made out to GMAC Mortgage and me. GMAC Mortgage endorsed the check and forwarded it back to me to allow me to complete the first set of repairs (new roof). The second check I received was made out to my new mortgage company, Midland Mortgage and me. I had the second set of repairs started. The second set of repairs was completed prior to Christmas. I paid the contractors out of my own pocket as Midland Mortgage had not released the funds.
It is now January 6 and I still have not received the funds from Midland Mortgage. I received a courtesy call last night saying that the funds had been deposited, but more information was needed. When we asked what information was needed, we were told they did not know. When I called this morning, I was told that they request had been put in to release the funds, however they did not know when they would be released. Whne pressed, the just said they had too many claims to process and did not know when they would get to it.
Meanwhile I am out 7,934.00 from my own money. If I told them I had too many things going on and would get to paying them when I could, they would be destroying my credit. We had to use money reserved for Christmas to pay for the repairs to our house and have not received the money from our mrtgage company yet.
