Matt of Rocky Ford CO (08/30/05) I purchased an small annuity a couple of years ago. I'm not a wealthy man and live from paycheck to paycheck. Something came up in my life a couple of months ago and I needed to cash the annuity. For 2 months, I have been getting delayed. It is only for $300 of which I will lose money on anyway. However, I need what they can send me.
I expected some delay however, this is nonsence. I've signed papers and resigned papers. I've been told the check is in the mail. Is there help available for me? I thought a month was enough time. Now, there is no telling how long it will take. Can you tell me how long to be patient? We are entering the 3rd month of waiting. Maybe a year? I have no funds to legally fight for this.
