Amber of Garden city , ID November 5, 2009 we contacted tax pro back in august of 2007 in an effort to resolve our oustanding taxes from 2002-2006, we paid them over 5600 to process our claimes with the state and the federal tax commissions and settle on an amount due. They kept in good contact with us until the balance we owed them was paid at which time they all of a sudden their phones are disconnected, emails are returned adn they are not responding to any coorespondance that we have sent. The number has been disconnected and the emails have returned as nondeliverable. If aanyone is willing to enter into a class action law suit i am very interested. Connie of Flagler Beach, FL October 29, 2009 I received notice in 2007 that I owed the IRS due to a filing erroe. I was in a panic and stupidly paid TaxCare pros 2000.00 because the agent assured me it was a simple filing error and that they will file correctly and that I absolutely owed the IRS nothing! After THREE attempts, they finally filed it right and I was shocked to have the notify me that "oops" we did owe over 1200,00!!! When I asked for the interest that the IRS charged me, for ONLY the months that they tied me up in due to having to file THREE times to get it right, I was told NO they do not issue refunds. I have never heard of any ethical business not paying for their OWN errors...we are talking about approx 300.00 that we were charged in interest for the time it took them to get it right! I was misled into hiring them in the first place by false assurances, either their agents are incompetent or purposely mislead people, but I find it infuriating that they do this to honest hard working people that can not afford to be losing money due to their incompetence! Debra of Delaware, OH October 19, 2009 I hired this firm to resolve my tax debt. I was told they work with the IRS to secure an installment plan. I paid them at least 13,000 dollars and nothing was done. I started getting levys against my bank and wages. I communicated with the company appropriately and did not respond to the IRS as directed. When contact was made with the IRS it was discovered that only 2 weeks ago they filed my documents with the IRS to request an installment agreement. Steve of Appleton, WI October 6, 2009 I contacted Tax Care Professionals in early May 2009 and spoke with Michael S. who promised me I would not have to worry about a thing his company would take care of everything for me. He told me to "relax they would work with the IRS so I would have nothing to worry or stress about", I stayed in constant communication with their company and provided EVERY letter from the IRS to them within 48 hours of receiving it. All requested forms were completed and turned in to the company within 48 hours, I did everything I could to ensure their job was easy and nothing would be held up by me. I continued to get letters from the IRS telling me nothing was getting done. On 8/7/09 I contacted the IRS because I was very concerned they would take actions against me based on the letters I had gotten, when I spoke with the IRS they informed me nothing had been done regarding my federal tax account, and only a payment plan (250 per month) was set up on my state account (anyone can do this online with the state IRS). I worked with the federal IRS myself and worked out a payment plan. On 8/7/09 I emailed Tax Care Professionals Client Services department and Michael S. that I wished to discontinue their services and wanted to be contacted regarding a partial refund, I still have never received a response. I emailed them again on 8/14/09, 8/21/09 and 8/27/09 requesting a contact or partial refund again with no response. They should just do what they know is right and refund my money, they know they didnt even come close to providing the services promised! I am out 1,500 dollars and have had zero tax relief.
