      Had a wonderful experience at Ashley Homestore in Plattsburgh NY recently. Went in to purchase 2 rocker recliner chairs. Our sales associate, DJ, was super helpful. He showed us several models. My wife and I narrowed it down, but we wanted to check out one other store first. The other store didn't have anything better, and when we went back to Ashley's, DJ remembered everything we had originally discussed--even more so than I could remember! He knew exactly what chairs my wife wanted! Very pleased with the customer service and his great attention to detail. And he didn't pressure us at all! Thank you DJ--it was a pleasure!

      Fort Smith store sales, Eran **, was wonderful! I need a whole body massage chair for medical reason. Unable to personally come to the store, Eran took multiple photos of the actual chair, using his personal phone. He also did a 'test drive' explaining how he felt after 15 minutes using the chair. He suggested using it before bed to help you sleep. (Which was very helpful!) Most people simply refer you to the store website, indicating they do not care about the customer. Eran's your personal shopper, looking out for your best interest. He didn't try to sale the highest priced chair either. The chair will be delivered to my house in 4 business days. Amazing! Regardless where you live, call Eran ** at Fort Smith, let him be your personal shopper!

      I only gave one star because I could not give ZERO. Sales person lied about delivery date. Charged my account in full the day I placed the order. Cut to a month later, no furniture in site with NO EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE but I am getting a invoice with due date this week. I have called my sales person with no answer. I have called the store with no answer. i have called Ashley headquarters with no answer. I have used the chat fuction with no help. I am at a place of sheer anger now because how is an CERTIFIED ASHLEY PARTNER scamming me in the true definition of what is happening here.

      I recently made a significant purchase at Ashley Furniture, spending over $9,000 on new furniture for my home. I want to begin by acknowledging that the sales representative, Steve, was excellent. Steve was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the purchasing experience easy and enjoyable. The family room sectional I purchased was in stock and delivered within just a few days, which was outstanding and greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there.

      At the time of purchase, I was told that my dining room furniture would be delivered within two weeks. That commitment played a major role in my decision to move forward with such a large order. However, it has now been three weeks, and I have not received a single call or update regarding the delay.

      When I finally reached out on my own to check the status, I was told that all pieces were in except for the base, which would take an additional two weeks to arrive. This is completely unacceptable. Not only is the extended delay frustrating, but the lack of communication is extremely disappointing—especially after making such a sizable purchase. I expected better transparency and customer service from a company of this size and reputation. At this point, I am upset in several ways: the missed deadline, the absence of proactive communication, the moving timeline, and the overall inconvenience this has caused. If this is not handled to my satisfaction, I will cancel my order and spend my money elsewhere. I hope Ashley Furniture will take this feedback seriously and improve communication and order fulfillment expectations for future customers.

      I recently purchased a sectional from there. The experience in the store was slow and felt like dealing with a shady car salesman. I opted in to open one of there credit cards for zero percent interest. However, I requested to put some money down. The sales person said this wouldn’t be an issue then lo and behold all the sudden it was to late and he forgot to add it. Then I had to go over my order several times which was fine. However when they gave me my delivery window and their tracker it was extremely inaccurate and when they did show up they had ordered and loaded the wrong piece!

      Then after explaining to the crew that assembled the couch how I wanted the sectional set up they did it completely wrong. So I had to move the sectional by myself. Only to discover that 6 out of the 8 pieces had either not been connected or not connected correctly! After dealing with their delivery service help line I was furious because the “white glove” delivery was like 500 bucks. After complaining I was offered 42 dollars off… which seemed like an insult. I would never recommend anyone buy from this store.

      Purchased a reclining loveseat. Within 3 months the back of the recliner came loose. Ashley would not take the piece back. They would only come out to repair it. After it was "repaired", it broke again 2 months later. I asked for a store credit and was turned down. The agent said a technician would come out and repair it again. We were so embarrassed by the recliner breaking when a guest sat on it, we just wanted to get rid of it. So we did. I was told by numerous people that Ashley's furniture may look good, but it's lacking quality. I will never purchase a piece of furniture from Ashley again.

      I went to Ashley Furniture to buy a new master bedroom set, the salesperson Jeremy ** helped me, and it turns out he is nothing but a used car salesman. He told me I need a Bunke board, I didn't know what that was but this being my first time buying a bedroom set, so I bought one. When they delivered the bedroom set the White Glove delivery team did not know what a Bunke board was nor where it goes or how to set it up. After finding out that my adjustable bed will not work with a Bunke board I reached out to Jeremy to make arrangements to have it returned and for a refund, Jeremy said yes he would make it happen especially since he said I needed it and I don't and I cannot use it. Also, Jeremy said he would help in finding some leg extensions for my adjustable bed so I can use my new bedroom set with my adjustable bed.

      We made an appointment for him to come to my home and help with the bed setup and then he doesn't show up, he was too busy and had to reschedule. Then the next time he is to come out to help days later I ask him in the morning are we still on for him to come out and help, the 2nd appointment with him, he tells me no he is too busy again and needs to reschedule again. He NEVER DID find the pieces needed to make it work correctly even though the items needed are readily available online, When I reached out to him to follow up, he stopped answering his phone, nor would he return vmails or my text, again he is a used car salesman, he makes promises he never keeps, but instead lies, lies, lies. So now I am out $300 for something I was told I needed but don't and I am told I can't get a refund. Jeremy makes promises and then doesn't follow up, like I said he is a used car salesman.

      In addition, two of the pieces they delivered were damaged, White Glove, NOT, so they had to be replaced, on the 2nd delivery one of the two pieces getting replaced, the footboard, had two major gouges in it and they didn't even take it off the truck as it was so bad. So, they now have to make a third delivery and when setting the footboard up they damage the Headboard, so now I need a 4th delivery with no ETA and no answers in sight. When I go to talk to the manager of the store, Jeff **, I hear, "I am sorry to hear that. I will see what I can do," and when I follow up with him he has no idea that I am still waiting for the 4th delivery as it is not scheduled and that I have a store credit for the Bunke board. Why would I ever go back, if I still don't have what I already paid for and all they do is make promises that they don't deliver on.

      After more than 3 months and 3 delivery attempts and 3 days of sitting at home for them to make the delivery I still have yet to get what I paid for and that I cannot get a refund even though Jeremy said I would get one, so he lied again, he is a used car salesman. Jeremy said I need a Bunke board, I don't, said I would get a refund and instead the manager Jeff ** says it will be a store credit and that he has no power or ability to issue a refund. Why would I want a store credit when after more than 3 months and 3 delivery attempts, I still do not have what I paid for. Jeremy and Jeff both have no idea what good customer service is nor what good customer service is all about, but man they make promises, they just don't follow through or deliver on them.

      When I call the manager, Jeff, to see when I might get the damaged headboard replaced, he says, "You need to call a different department, he is a manager and does not seem to want to help but he will pass the buck," and he says as a manager he CANNOT issue or approve the refund that I was told I would get by the used car salesman Jeremy. MY ADVICE DO NOT GO THERE, YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

      Warning! Warning!! Do not shop at this predatory store in Lansing MI. What a bunch of crooks. Ashley Furniture will not allow you to return an item after it is purchased...end of discussion. We bought two lamps that didn't fit in the space we had. We tried to return them. Ed, the manager, said their policy is that they do not accept returns. Who doesn't accept a return on an unused item one day after purchase because the item is the wrong size? Everyone allows a return...but not Ashley. The company would allow it, but each individual store apparently can make their own rule? Screw you, Ashley Furniture. What a scam.

      I made over a $3k purchase for my new home and was expected to wait a month for the item and turned into two extra months. I kept getting the run around and last minute cancellations every time it was supposed to be delivered. When it finally got delivered the wedge piece was damaged and had to be sent back.. I received a text from a third party the next day asking if I was going to be available after 12 for a delivery and then an hour later I received a response saying “the driver has a death in the family and item is not in stock.” I’m completely fed up with Ashley furniture.. The staff only tells me, "Sorry the manager only says sorry." They have done nothing to make matters better at all. Unacceptable service. I would never recommend them to anyone.

      I am writing about our unpleasant experience at Ashley this past Sunday, May 24, where we spent from 2:48 PM to 4:51 PM in the store, only to leave empty-handed, disappointed with the service, and standing in the middle of a heavy rainstorm. We have been loyal customers for years, during which we have purchased two dining room sets, a four-piece bedroom set, two mattresses, an adjustable bed base, and a living room set. This is the first time we have ever received such terrible treatment.

      The salesperson assisting us had no idea what he was doing. He told us our monthly payment would be around $200, but when the financing information came back, we were told it would actually be $644. When we asked why, the excuse was that the approval through Acima was for a 24-month term. We explained that the payment was far too high, outside of our budget, and that we no longer wanted it. However, the manager continued insisting. We then decided to look at a more affordable option to see if it would fit within our budget. The salesperson returned with new numbers, saying there would not be much difference. He told us the payments would be around $94, but when the financing was presented, it came out to $244.

      I do not know if Ashley is so desperate for money that they mislead customers in hopes that someone will eventually agree and they can take their money. It is truly disappointing that a store that was always our first choice treated us this way. My issue the second time was not the monthly payment itself, but rather that once again, the salesperson gave us one amount, only for the reality to be that the monthly payment was much higher. Thank God, Ashley is not the only furniture store that exists, nor the only place that sells mattresses. In fact, the very next day we went to Sleep Number, purchased the mattress we needed, and the entire process took no more than 45 minutes. On top of that, we received exceptional customer service.

      We had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture after spending approximately $8,000 furnishing our home. Before purchasing, we made it very clear that our house was undergoing remodeling and that we would need Ashley to hold the furniture for several weeks before delivery. Both the salesperson and the store manager assured us multiple times that this would not be a problem and told us to “take the time you need.” About five weeks later, we called to schedule delivery and that’s when the nightmare started.

      On the initial delivery:

      * The bed rails/hardware were missing, so the delivery team could not assemble the beds.

      * Two dressers were also missing from the order.

      Unfortunately, we had already disposed of our old furniture to make room for the new items, especially since Ashley does not offer haul-away services. As a result, our children were forced to sleep on the floor for nearly two weeks because Ashley failed to deliver the necessary parts to assemble the beds. When the driver finally returned two weeks later, he initially refused to assemble the beds because he claimed nobody informed him assembly was required. We eventually convinced him to complete the setup, but he clearly was unhappy about it.

      Even after that:

      * One dresser was still missing.

      * We later discovered the dresser had been discontinued entirely.

      Ashley then offered us a $150 credit “for the inconvenience,” but when we attempted to cancel the missing item and obtain a refund, they tried deducting that same $150 credit from the refund amount owed to us. To make matters worse, customer service was terrible throughout the process. When I called regarding the refund amount, the representative hung up on me after refusing to properly research the amount we had paid. I called back and repeatedly requested a manager, but instead was placed on hold for over 20 minutes—twice—only to be routed back to the same representative. It honestly felt like a deliberate tactic to avoid accountability and discourage customers from escalating issues.

      Our salesperson completely disappeared after the sale was completed and was nowhere to be found when problems started happening. For a company that markets itself as a major furniture retailer, this level of disorganization, lack of communication, and poor customer service is unacceptable. We spent thousands of dollars and were left dealing with missing furniture, incomplete deliveries, sleeping arrangements for our children, and endless frustration.       July 2025 I purchased a round dining table and four chairs from the new Las Vegas Flagship store. Round table item no. D790-50 cost $799.99, chairs item no. D790-02A cost $200.00 ea. The table was delivered without damage. The four chairs were delivered each having damage and blemishes. I reported the damage and blemishes right away within 15 min, very upset. Ashley required that I provide photos of each blemish on each chair to substantiate my claim. Luckily each chair contained a unique identifying number. I submitted photos. I started getting a runaround from the call center. Until I started demanding to speak with a supervisor. They agreed to send out four new chairs.

      Second set of chairs were delivered and again, two out of the four had damage and blemishes. I was told by delivery team that I was to take all the chairs or nothing at all. Infuriated by this statement by the delivery team, I refused the second set of chairs and was on the phone with the call center right away. After go around and around with them again, they agreed to send another set of chairs that would be supposedly cherry picked by the warehouse manager. Third set arrives and again, they were delivered with damage and blemishes.

      Each time I went through this, they offered to send out a tech to replace parts instead of just delivering me brand new undamaged product. HOW OFFENSIVE! My hard earned money is treated as such. Being worn down a month and half later, I kept the third set of chairs and immediately made a claim for replacement parts. Since last October 2025, I have had two times parts ordered and three techs come to my home, at an inconvenience to me. Each order of parts came more damaged and unusable compared to what was already in my home. The techs ordered extra just so we could see what was best out of the bunch. Let's just say, all ordered parts, times two, we're all thrown in the garbage, and reported to Ashley as such with proof of pictures from the techs. Each tech reported their being major problems with this product.

      After the second order and visit from tech no. 3, I gave up. The worst purchase of furniture ever! I love the table, and I love the chairs. However, everything should have been delivered in perfect condition from the start, because my hard earned money deserves it. Ashley shouldn't have been selling a product knowing there were so many issues straight from the factory. SHAME ON YOU! Ashley Furniture has yet to contact me to make this right after this most recent visit by tech no. 3. in May 2026. Oh and, the call center go around is ridiculous, not located in America.

      Ashley's delivery time frame is ridiculous, paid for a couch and was told it would be delivered in about a week by the salesman, that was almost 2 weeks ago. Then I look at the paperwork and it's a 4 to 8 week delivery time frame. I paid in full, to have such an extreme wait time is ridiculous. Even spoke with someone via chat after going in circles and was told they will get with me in a couple days. Here I am Friday night, crickets. Horrible will never buy from you again.

      Purchased what I thought was going to be my dream chair for new house. Received a frayed, ripped, sewn incorrectly sofa chair. Called Ashley Furniture for a refund & was told only even exchange or Credit towards purchase price for another item. Went to store to buy new item. Received a call my new item was ready to be delivered and old chair picked up. They never came. Called customer service, they said I was not on schedule.

      Rescheduled for another day. That day came and they never showed up again. Was told I needed to reschedule. Have been giving the run around. Scammers, wasting my time, not wanting to just give me a refund and now they are delaying my new item. Horrible experience. Will never shop here again, and I will make sure to tell family and friends not to do business here. I have asked for corporate's number and every excuse is made not to give it to. me. They are very unprofessional. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT CARE.

      I bought the Braxton bedroom set. 2 large dressers and 2 nightstands. It’s been over a week of trying to get 1 dresser together correctly. The drawers will not close properly. I’ve called customer support, sent emails with pictures and videos, even hired a woodwork expert to assemble and it just sits here. Partially functional. I’m trying to return it and that has become another nightmare.

      I purchased a rug from Ashley Furniture, and within just one month of normal use, the material began to come apart when I vacuumed it. This is very disappointing for a product that should be durable and hold up to basic maintenance. When I contacted the store, I was told that returns are only accepted within 72 hours of purchase. Because of this policy, I was left with a damaged rug and no resolution, despite the issue clearly being related to product quality rather than misuse. As a customer, I expected better quality and more reasonable support. Unfortunately, this experience has been frustrating and costly. I would caution others to carefully review return policies and product quality before purchasing from Ashley Furniture.
