Sheila of Dorchester, MA February 6, 2009

Sheila of Dorchester MA (02/06/09)
6/14 2007 I put a bed on a layawy plan with Craft Matic Bed of 2001 Beacon Street Brighton MA 02135 The agreement was i pay100.00 a month for a 2555.00 bed. I have paid each month a 100.00 a few time's I sent 200 dollars, when posible. 4/9/2008 I received a new invoice with the name of Contour of NE. I kept up with the contract with the same payments 100. a month. In Sept I called because I had not received an invoice from them. But my checks have been cashed.I had a hard time reaching them but was given the number through craftmaic sales person by a telephoning the craftmtic people on the internet.

I call this company Contour of Ne. They said that they had bought the company and honor the contract. My computer had gone down in December 15 2008, so I had to check my bank statment. They had cashed the check. My Bank statement was late in coming for the month of Januuary 2009 I was calling to tell them to deliver My bed I have scraped together. The amount of 555.00 in my hand and please deliver the the craftmatic bed. I can't find out what's going on I have no number I thought I wrote in on a bill but it's not there. I'm on disabilaty and I've just lost to sisters I'm very depressed and don't know what to do.

Christine of Henderson, NV January 30, 2009

Christine of Henderson NV (01/30/09)
I purchased a Craftmatic Bed in December of 07 because I was diagnosed with SM and other back issues. I had been sleeping on an air mattress because I could not sleep in my regular bed and I wanted to be able to again sleep with my husband rather than next to my husbands bed. Well, for the first couple of months it was ok, we got the heat and massage options on it and the massage really made it better for my back. But the mattress started sagging, which was why I could not sleep in my other bed to begin with.

I have tried to call to have them come out to do the recommended upkeep on the motor for the massage several times over the last year and have never been able to get in touch with them. The mattress now needs to be replaced and the massage is now starting to fail and that is the one thing I need in order to help my back. I want to be part of the class action lawsuit because I paid over 4000 for my beds and want to either get them to where they should be which would be fine with me or to get my money back in order to buy a bed that will actually help me. I feel that the highpressure sales methods and the high interest are unacceptable

I paid the beds off in October and was still hounded afterwards because I paid it immediately upon getting my bill, which should have given me until the due date before additional interest was accrued however, that was not the case and after paying over 4K to pay the beds off - I had to pay yet another 175 dollars just to be done with them because I had to pay the interest that was accrued during the period of getting the bill and the due date. They are a ripoff! HELP!

Financial hardship, unacceptable interst, increased back issues due to my disability, need a new mattress and can not afford one, headaches, stress, marital issues due to it not working and not being able to use the beds, etc.

I order a Craftmatic Adjustable Bed that I was over charge for the bed to my finance company name HC Processing Center. I asked HC can they file charges again Craftmatic and they said I had to file frist.

They over charge me for a bed that cost 5824.17, which should cost me about 1900.00.

I wrote earlier and said about one of our twin bed motors not working...but forgot to say about the mattress. We had to buy two twin mattresss for the mattresses we had started to sag down in the middle and edges. Then also we were not able to get a hold of anyone. So we got new beds.

Hard time sleeping and backs were hurting bad and had a hard time with back problems. Sorry I did not include this in other report all together.
