Furniture
In Motion

We purchased furniture which was delivered on 10/15/98.
The love-seat recliner did not work, which the store was notified about the same day.
After many phone calls a repair man was sent on 11/4/98 with no parts.
I was then told it would be 10 days for this part to
come in. After the 10 or more days went by, I started to call the store everyday
No one could help me or give me any information.
I had ask to speak to the owner. I would be told
he is not available and would have him call me. I have never heard from him, we even ask
for the phone number to the repair man, hoping we could go that route. The sales
person told me that they could not give that information out.
We have already gone thru The Better Business Bureau,
and they sent a letter back to us that the store would not responed to the complaint file
against them.
I now own furniture that does not recline, I paid well
over $1,000. I would appreciate someone helping me getting the parts from this store or
getting my money back for the return of the furniture.
Small Claims Court was invented for precisely this
kind of situation. It may be a little trouble but it may also be the only solution.
